It would only be a good point if I were posting videos claiming that they were actual footage of a flat, motionless earth (taken from goodness knows where).

The videos I post contain information and graphics of models that show how the flat motionless earth could work.

So only believe videos you post? Glad that's cleared up.  :banghead:

Getting pished having a dance and shouting SPB is not bigoted.

    Check out this...

I am amazed. I have been in Saltcoats and it is a desolate god forsaken wasteland, if zombies become real it will start in Saltcoats shopping centre..  For Saltcoats to have put on this extravaganza is like the Maldives having a space program and equally sensible.

That drumming is murder, to quote a good friend of mine "it's like a skeleton having a w@nk in a biscuit tin". Purpose of a drum corps is meant to be every one playing the same thing together...

  3. Report on BBC website saying it was Broony who initiated it, although it is a quote from Mark McGhee...

Also says its not a one off game.

Maybe he just regrets his decision. No idea how anyone can say he turned his back.

I've honestly no idea what point you're arguing... Teams should be given the chance to sell 50% of tickets to a semi or final. However, teams also need to be responsible and realistic. Saying you need 10k tickets to sell and then only taking 4k fans to the game is pathetic and unprofessional. That's what people are saying.

They're not saying Morton shouldn't get 50% if they are capable of selling 50%.

Maybe taking a bit of a long road to get to my point to be fair... We all (well most) agree that teams should be given the opportunity to sell 50% of the tickets at a neutral ground, Aberdeen didn't want to allow Morton to attempt this which played a part in the game being at Hampden, not fair for some to just say Morton "demanded" it be at Hampden when there has been an accumulation of factors. The fact that the 2 clubs couldn't agree made Hampden the only option. Kick off time on the other hand...

This isn't a justification but I'll try explain why we said 10K, this was uncharted territory for us and I genuinely thought we'd have had 10k easily when we made the semi-final. This would certainly have been the case 10 years ago. Unfortunately it looks as though years of gross mismanagement and a series of very poor managerial appointments has taken its toll on our support who have chucked it altogether and can't even be tempted back for a national semi. This has been the saddest thing to come out the whole affair for me.

Considering the venue I though the atmosphere was still decent and I enjoyed mingling and chatting with 'Dons fans before and after the game and genuinely wish you all well for the rest of the season. McInnes is an absolute class act and hope you can hold onto him, was one of my hero's growing up and I'm still convince if Rangers hadn't pinched him we've have won the league in '96. I'm just glad we gave a good account of ourselves on the pitch, and if Quitongo had buried his chance at HT who knows... I won't mention the offside goal!

Why will Celtic take more fans?

That's not the point I'm making.

Aberdeen will sell their 50% share for the final

I know, but it goes against what others have been arguing here, surely as the bigger team Celtic deserve more than 50% of the allocation? As the smaller team Aberdeen should just roll over and take it. Celtic fans within their right to argue that Aberdeen took around 11,000 to the semi then they shouldn't get anymore.

No Hampden was not "absolutely the right choice"

    No scottish

football fan would agree. Regardless of who you support, if one team can sell 14000 tickets and the other 4000 then so be it!

Just because it's a neutral venue shouldn't men fans are locked out.

why should 50/50 be a starting point when there is no hope in hell of Morton selling 9000 tickets???

Because it's the right thing to do.

Obviously Aberdeen should now only get 11,000 tickets for final as Celtic will take more fans. Or will that be different?

So Morton could only sell 4K tickets for a game only 30 minutes away, but  its Aberdeen's fault for not agreeing to Morton getting 11k tickets for a game at Easter Road ?

    Good one.

I did say starting point of 50:50 ;) every club playing in semi finals or finals should at least be entitled to try and sell half the ground.

I'm not saying it's Aberdeen's fault whatsoever, only pointing out that they played a part in the situation. Something that appears to be a major issue admitting to!

    Thanks.

I just thought I would reply to your "billy big time" comment.

I was at the game, and whilst I'm not the most classy guy in the world,I don't really care about applauding a team that lost, that I don't support

No one is asking for home advantage possibilities, people are embarrassed that yet another national semi final, broadcast the world over, looks like an absolute shambles of a place as its only 1/3rd full.

No atmosphere can be generated in that,I assume that Morton fans were singing a lot of the game, especially the start of the 2nd half when they were on top imo,but from the west stand,I couldn't hear a thing.

If this was played in Edinburgh, the noise would've been locked in and created a better spectacle all round.

Just you stay on your high horse and pretend it's because Morton couldn't be arsed getting pumped in another city. :ok:

Better on a high horse than full of it.

If Aberdeen had been willing to start at 50:50 ticket sales game would have been in Edinburgh. They weren't then blamed everybody else for game being at Hampden.

Scottish football has got far more to be embarrassed about on a world stage than playing a semi at an empty Hampden.

Instead of that happening,Morton showed what a diddy team they really are by having <4K at their first national semi final in what, nearly 40 years, after saying they would have at least 10k,when it wasn't on their own doorstep

Clowns don't deserve the time of day.

    Next......

    Classy.

At at least your manager and fans at the game yesterday had a touch of class about them.
