Even the commentary toward the end saying some shite about Scotland needing to make a go of the 6nations since the WC was always gonna be difficult. Well, why should we expect to be any better in 6N considering Ireland have just horsed us.
Swap us with England and I'd be gutted not making the semis. Once we've made the semis we've two games to win the fucking thing against teams who'd had to beat England South Africa, NZ, France to get there whereas we'd be relatively fresh by comparison. England so far have beat Argentina, Dog n Duck and next up Fiji. Its a farce.
The draw for the group stages was December 2020 ffs - that's mental!

I hope Ireland go on to win the tournament but the All Blacks will be a tough test. Hopefully that turns out to be the game of the tournament, as we haven't had many great games so far. The very first game France v All Blacks has been the best I've seen so far. It's all been a bit tame after that.
I think we'd have taken the piss on the other side of the draw

We’re ranked higher than England yet they won't play anyone with a realistic chance of winning it until the semis. We'd have had to beat 3 potential winners probably to even get there.
I can see England winning it to be honest- they're skint and this tournament has the credibility of WWE.

That's where I'm coming from - that was us doing that high tackle there'd be a yellow plus the penalties in their 22.

Refereeing has been suspect all tournament. We should have had a 50 22 - not clearly out my arse. There's no way they're staying two metres in the line out and/or chucking it straight.

Next couple of years will be interesting as look like there's a side there capable of competing in League A. Arguably could have won both without Cuthbert, Watson then Weir getting injured.
Appear to have a right back that can get up n down and the young lass that came on in midfield looks a player.
Look short at centre half and keeper but they look a completely different outfit from the one that completely fucked up the euro qualifiers

It's a bit of a farce that we've played one game in three weeks, it was against the world champions and we go into our second already needing snookers.
They need to add a plate for the third place teams to make the group stage less pointless

Quite like Ian Wright as he's obviously passionate about England but he at least tries to be balanced and he did speak positively without being a condescending twat too about us.
Considering missing Cuthbert and Watson that was a great performance last night. The behind the scenes stuff and the attitude since the world cup 4 years ago hung over them like a hangover fart on a frozen winter's morn but hopefully they're finally over whatever the beef was.
I can buy back into that - going 2 down to England I was expecting a cricket score but they genuinely without question deserved something from the game.

We could still qualify comfortably. We could still even win the group. We could still be going into the last game needing a point off Norway. When the draw was made and the fixtures came out, I would have been happy to be going into the last game needing a win against Norway to qualify. We have got ourselves into a position where the absolute worst that can happen is we go into that last game needing a point. I'm not getting too carried away and not being too pessimistic either. We are still in a great position and I couldn't really give a monkeys about losing a friendly to England. It changes nothing.

I'd bite your hand off for where we are now and last night's result doesn't bother me but the performance does slightly. Confidence takes ages to build but can crumble quite quickly.
I've seen enough in Georgia to say they've a result in them especially if we don't increase the intensity next couple of games.
It would be fantastic not needing something v Norway but really wouldn't be at all surprised if we're hoping Spain do us a favour.
