Just back from Albuferia old town and was quite impressed. Positives Clean and lots of bars on an extensive network of strips. The bars had entertainment, Neil Diamond and Elvis impersonators. It sounds tacky but it a really nice atmosphere. Also free public toilets, which I thought was unusual for europe where it was 1 euro a pee in amsterdam! downside Taxi queue can take up to two hours at night and its about a fair distance to the stadium in Faro. But I reckon friday and saturday night in Albuferia old town will be the place to be. Hope we are signing the james mcarthy song in the irish bars.
