  1. Really surprised that Griffiths has been released by Celtic, I thought the 1 year extension would be been activated. I take it the new Celtic manager doesn't trust him enough to offer him a deal. It will be interesting to see where he ends up

Rumours on twitter (🙄) and elsewhere that Christie is going to Monaco. That would certainly be an interesting move.

There's also an odd rumour going about that Gauld might move to Vancouver Whitecaps. That would not seem a progressive choice.

Fair play to both of they do go. I really can't fault Guald for going to the mls if he does go. Summer football, wages, lifestyle and training facilities are top notch too.

  3. One to keep an eye on is a young lad called Rory Wilson who's 15. Playing with Rangers U18s, tipped to have a big future in the game. I know anything can happen and our record is poor from 15-21 with player development but this boy is worth keeping an eye on.

He won’t be we need to move beyond griffiths he is hardly one for the future

Still the best forward we have. Griffiths would be scored a couple from the chances that Dykes and Adams missed

He sounds like he's a good frame of mind. He's been speaking to big Ange, and been in pre-season training pre-pre-season (if that makes sense) we need a clinical finisher like him.

From what I've heard, he's looking forward to the new season and has lost a bit of weight, seemingly he's desperate to impress again

  6. Looked leggy from the start, Armstrongs worst game, just not at the races at all tonight. Never mind, it's certainly something to build upon. We need that cutting edge in front of goal, if we hadn't been creating chances then I'd be seriously worried.  Reaching the euros should now be an absolute minimum for us moving forward.

  7. A wee look at our opponents on Tuesday,

Croatia played a 4231 vs Czech Republic. After having a look at how we could exploit them, we need to drag Modric and Kovacik out of position through the middle especially if we line up with the same formation 3412 and the same squad vs England. This could be done with the space that they leave between Kramaric who plays as an attacking midfielder and their centre halfs. I fully expect John McGinn to find a lot of room in there to at least cause panic along their back line. We should be able to give their full back Sime Vrsaljko a torrid time with Robertson and Tierney, who are more than capable of hurting any national side. Where I feel they are strong, comes from their forward Petkovic and winger Ivanusec who are both decent players. The Croatian team know exactly whats expected of them, but other than their second half display against the Czechs haven't showed up to the finals....yet. I guess this comes down to who blinks first, fingers crossed our players fire us through and the Czechs gub England.
