  1. If someone's spent their hard earned cash to go to an away game, they're more than entitled to voice their opinions whether that be before, during or after the game, inside the stadium or not. A dispute happened next to us at the Lithuania game, where a lad shouted something negative and it was met by a guy shouting back at him to "shut the f*** up and get behind the team" (which in my opinion was out of order)

I'm a Dons fan, so I know what going through a living hell for 90 minutes can really feel like and if people want to voice their opinions, then so be it. They've paid a lot of money for their ticket, travel, accommodation etc, so they're allowed to feel a bit aggrieved when the players in front of them are going through the motions against an Eastern European minnow.

I'll respect GSTQ by turning my back on it and remaining silent.

    That'll sure show them!!

What's with all this "turning my back" on GSTQ anyway!? If you face the other way from where noise is coming from, can you not hear it? I'll maybe need to give that a try sometime, just not on Friday night.

aye cause the friendlies counted for loads.  you one of them that gets ecstatic at winning a friendly?

The friendlies were the last two games we played against them, Deecie had a mare. Try telling Wales friendlies count for nothing, it was friendlies that saw them climb the qualifying pots which led to a semi final place in the Euros

it's the competitive matches that count in the end.  we froze at Hampden in '99 and were all over them at their place.  played well and unlucky not to go to extra time.  but yes, as with all competitive matches the winner takes the spoils.

You prove my point, our last competitive game counted for next to nothing, maybe a slight climb in the rankings and nothing more. Unlucky or not we lost. Celebrated failure and have been doing it ever since

You one of them happy clappers giving it laldy at full time in Georgia and Faro aye?

I didn't have the good fortune to get a ticket for the Georgia game, so can't comment on any post-match antics but surely there were no happy clappers???

In all my time, I don't think I've ever been as embarrassed supporting Scotland as I was after the game in Faro. "One Gordon Strachan" was the chant as the majority of the Scotland fans clapped the players off after finishing fourth in a group where second was definitely achievable, thus condemning us to another summer at home.

  4. You literally couldn't script some of the stuff that he's done on that Facebook page. From his Germany in the 1930s style approach to any form of conflict, to him trying to sell his Scotland gear on the page because "he's finished with the Tartan Army", only for him to then advertise an event for the England home game a week later.... (which is clearly the behaviour of someone who wants attention and sympathy i.e. a 5 year old child).

I made a tongue in cheek remark on the page after the Slovakia debacle and was banned within 10 minutes for it. Fair play to the new admin though, as he actually outed a guy for 'reporting' a post they didn't like, which I thought was hilarious.

Well I don't know because you never answered my question!

In all seriousness there was actually a guy from Aberdeen in Coyotes in Prague, who was ranting at people for wearing jeans, which is why this thread is so funny.

Nah no way, people from Aberdeen aren't angry.
