  2. ** SOLD OUT **

Thank you to everyone who’s purchase a raffle ticket, with some increasing their chances by buying more than one!

Now all tickets have been sold – all 59 of them – we’re in the process of allocating your bonus ball number and will share the details tonight.

Best of luck in Saturday’s draw and if you’re the winner, we’ll be using your PayPal address, as the delivery address.

The Tartan Army Sunshine Appeal can’t do what they do without amazing support like this, which they are always very grateful for.

  3. For an entry fee of £10.50/ticket, you’ll have the chance of winning a fully signed shirt from the Malta vs Scotland game!

    Game Details

World Cup Qualifier, Ta' Qali National Stadium, Malta

    4th September 2017

    Malta 1

    A Effiong (13)

    Scotland 5

    R Snodgrass (9, 61 pen, 84),C Martin (53),S Fletcher (78)

This shirt that has been donated to the Sunshine Appeal by Ikechi Anya and is fully signed by the squad from this game.

This shirt has been prepared by the SFA as a match day shirt, including the date/game details on the front.

    THE RAFFLE

We will run a ‘National Lottery Raffle’, which the bonus ball number of the designated week, is the winning number.

The National Lottery draw that takes place on the 16th of December is the designated draw – this is to take into account the UK postal service and how busy it will be at this time but the winner should still be getting the top in time for Christmas.

    PROCESS

To keep it simple, we won’t be asking people to pick their numbers, as this adds complexity to the process and adds to the mix that people might send payment for the same number!

What we will do is, we will regularly update everyone with the number of tickets that are still available and once all tickets are sold, we then do a draw to allocate ticket(s) purchase to their allocated number(s) – this will be prior to the National Lottery Draw, so you know what your lucky number(s) are.

In the (hopefully unlikely) event that tickets remain unsold:

In the event that the Bonus Ball drawn, is not a ticket that’s been sold, we will award the shirt to the next closest number that has been sold. If there’s 2 numbers that are equally as close to the Bonus Ball number, the winner shall be the one who purchased their ticket first.

    TICKETING DETAILS

When researching how other tops are sold, it’s usually via the highest bidders process but as we are thankful to both the player for donating and our supporters for backing a whole range of things we do (plus the same for others raising on our behalf), we are NOT making it about who’s got the deepest pockets and wish to make it affordable to as many people as possible.

Tickets will cost £10.50 each (which includes the PayPal fee), and generates a donation value of approximately £10.00 per ticket.

NOTE, if the winner is outside of the UK, we will contact the winner and discuss the additional costs of sending abroad, with them paying this additional cost.

    HOW TO BUY

Please visit our online shop, link below,  where you can buy in whatever multiples of ticket(s) you wish to buy, i.e. 1 ticket is £10.50, 2 tickets are £21.00, 3 tickets are £31.50 etc.

Remember, there are only 59 tickets being sold, so you’ve got a great chance of winning this unique shirt for a lot less that if it was being sold to the highest bidder.

Good luck everyone and as ever, we greatly appreciate your support.

I used my VPN (think I picked my 'location' as being Germany) and used my currency card, so it was charged in Euros.

I looked at my hotels address and phone number, then looked for what looked like a residential address in the same area, used that and gave a made up phone number, very similar to the hotel's.

Finally, I put in what I thought was a plausible 'local name', both when creating an account and the name on the ticket order (ordered 2, using the 'petrol15' discount code and 'print@ home'), with the ticketing name being the one displayed on both tickets.

Did this late on Thursday night and so far, other than a follow up email which is advising where to get my invoice for the sale, so far so good (went for section 22) - could argue there's only been 1 working day for their system to review/verify the order and it might still be cancelled but thought worth sharing?

Not sure how to post photos but the 'tabela 18' above this one is quite nice. Basically the same as the euro 2016 qualifying campaign but with white trim.

Its in the link, further down the page

    East Midlands - Edinburgh - £33

The plan is to arrange mini bus transfer from pula to ljub and then ljub to venice.

Will be in ljub by 1pm day of the game.

Shuttles will be around £30 each / per journey

There is currently 5 of us doing this route.

    @Zander_14

I've shared this on the Tartan Army Group Facebook page - might help with your numbers and keep costs down etc

Good luck with your travels :ok:

Never having heard of a VPN I've just googled it and sort of get the idea now, click below for what I read

    http://www.lifehacker.co.uk/2012/09/05/start-using-vpn-choose-best-one-needs

but what is a quick and easy way of getting one sorted ? I looked at this but frankly I am still a bit baffled https://torrentfreak.com/which-vpn-providers-really-take-anonymity-seriously-111007/

I did a search of the forum cause I'm sure someone posted which free one they'd used to buy Lithuania home tickets but can't find any matches

I've got one I pay for, mainly as it means you've got a better chance of streaming content (mainly live sports) from my android box, as your ISP can't block it, like they would normally do B)

I think a free one would do the job - all you're looking to do is to make it look like you're not in the UK, which is what your IP Address is currently doing - thats my opinion, as people have used a Slovenian address, so its unlikely to be that that's been used to cancel the tickets

    is anybody updating this ?

I think with the excitement of the 3-0 win in Lithuanian it was missed to update on here, however, as posted on the FB page (with Neil donating his winnings)

"Congratulations to Neil Forbes on winning August Manager of the Month in the Sunshine Appeal Predictor.

With a week off for the international break, you all have time to do some studying and be back on the hunt next month."

  11. Anyone on this flight and not made any onward travel arrangements yet?

There’s 31 of us on this flight and have a private transfer booked to take us from Vienna airport to Graz (then we’re getting the direct train the following morning to Ljubljana) - Estimated to be up to a 3 hour journey but there's shops in the airport for picking up some cargo!

If you’re on this flight and fancy joining the private transfer (it’s a 38 seater coach with toilet – the toilet was always a stipulation!!), it’ll cost you only £20 to do so, with ALL excess monies being donated to the Tartan Army Sunshine Appeal.

Either post on this topic or send a DM if you need a seat :ok:

    Cheers, Paul

I know someone who has just bought & there ticket was 505, so that only leaves 380 people who are eligible so far still to buy. - I highly doubt this is going below 7 points.

better watch what you post ................... actually plagiarism is a form of flattery and especially since its being posted on a FB page, as if its the work of said page owner

FAO said page owner, it'll be down to  653 later:ok:

Been to Vilnius loads of times so fancied somewhere different

two of us dicking about klaipeda/palanga from Tuesday to Friday

hoping for decent weather if not a pint in every boozer could be the plan

seems to be quite a few judging by goggle

think our digs is close to "the Portobello" which happens to be open till 0200

We quite liked it and whilst not exactly rocking at night, some decent places to eat and get a few drinks etc

We were the 'other' group there, we spoke as you were waiting for your pal to fly in :ok:

  14. There's a few of us flying out to there and then travelling to Vilnius

We're staying in the Memel Hotel, which has fairly decent reviews and is well placed etc - also decided to do a wee trip to Nida on the Curonian Spit.

The trains are around €12 one way but can't buy online as you need a Lithuanian bank account - from what I've read, you can buy on the day if needed

Looks fairly decent and with the direct train, makes it easy to get to, with the hotel sorting out a taxi from the airport for us (€30) but I suppose since you're going the other way and control the time you leave, the airport coach would be good for you?
