Who sits in a Football Stadium???
-
Lads, Lassies Thanks to all from here who have posted on YBIG , You all have in the main have been welcoming, We are looking forward to our visit to Glasgow and having a few beers and banter with you all, Due to our respective Football Associations shambles of Ticket Allocation/Distribution it would appear that apart from the official away end, Irish Fans are all around the Stadium, Lets make the most of this and enjoy the atmosphere and football, Looking Forward to it Now and Hopefully we will welcome ye all to Dublin next June
-
Regular away supporter of many years lads and like many got shafted by FAI, Have Tickets in LL Upper, any one objecting to colours?
-
Why not just give them 5% and then not sell home end tickets to away fans ? Like normal for every other game I've attended.
Thats a fair point if you accept the same arrangement for next June
But because we are buying in droves a bit late
-
was the vibe not there for Germany? 4 or 5 thousand went I believe
3500 i would have thought and yes the vibe was there, but if we had been given 10% for Glasgow and we agreed to give you lads the same for June then this fiasco wouldnt have happened,

The real Irish are great and I've always had a great time when over there; it's the Garngad "Irish" who'll be the arses, as they were at Hampden the last time - "You are my Larsson........"
Hopefully the atmosphere will be fantastic and, of course, Scotland win.
Really, Thats not on, anyway looking forward to it, lots of Irish buying up tickets all over the ground so should be a good atmosphere, and of course Ireland win!
-
Lads the Irish are absolutely eating up all these tickets in the home sections, it looks like the LL stand is gonna be very much irish everywhere.
Where will the hardcore scots be?
Ye might be beside the Hardcore Irish, We will have fun and respect each other
-
Irrespective of reputations only takes one eejit from either side
You are right there Langtonian, Thats why we should embrace this, Enjoy a match and selfpolice if necessary, but this is not about politics, its about a football match and we here are looking forward to it
-
Lads, as you probably Know most of the regular Irish away fans have been shafted by the FAI, so we have bought a fair few Home End Tickets, We are a good natured lot and dont cause trouble, Looking Forward to being among you lads and you will get the same welcome in Dublin next June
-
I think it has always been that way. I hate when the genuine fans can't get tickets but it is the way of the world. I was able to beat the system a few times in Italy but it is difficult now. That will mean more people getting Scottish tickets, won't it???
No We bought up thousands last week on General Sale as Insurance Tickets
-
who will get the tickets then?
Corporate, Clubs and Abbey Travel Bandwagoners Helen, Its a Disgrace
-
The FAI have declined most Genuine Applications for Tickets, All away regulars, Fookin Disgrace,
-
Brianie that was after the scots were there, ? don't you remember the Bari bus thread on YBIG ?
Will have a look NR, BTW Fancy meeting you here
-
I have met her, assuming it is still the same person.
She put on Buses for Irish Fans to the stadium in Bari some years ago

The Irish lads are very welcome here and are making some interesting contributions. Take a look over on the forum for the Dublin match, their giving loads of helpful advice on hotels, pubs, areas to avoid etc.
Difference is, whilst the Republic of Ireland are to an extent rivals of ours (just like Wales and Northern Ireland) they are not the massive, main, must win, historical rival which England are hands down.
Your doing a great job on YBIG too Ersatz

Hi Guys, Now that the Official Allocation is 3200, And we are buying up Tickets in Celtic Park through the SFA, We could have 15000 there?? A Simple question, Long Time ROI Fan, Do you anticipate any Trouble , Wearing Colours ? Looking Forward to meeting a few of ye and a few beers
