You're the one that doesn't get it, Brown plays league one equivalent week in week out, why has no one ever signed him from Celtic? He's hardly in demand ffs, McCarthy is a classy footballer who will go on to bigger things than Everton I'm sure of it.
Oh and in terms of where Keane is now in his career I would take Naismith any day of the week presently.
Take the blinkers off some of you and admit that Brown isn't actually all that.
Luckily we don't pick any from our irish league but I bet you didn't know that Coleman, McClean, Doyle, Ward, Forde, Meyler all started off in LOI so it's not all doom and gloom but our league is very poor, no denying that for a second.
A more effective player means a better all round one and to me that is nonsense but sure what can ya do....
One question for ya, what english division would you say the spl is the equivalent to at the moment, championship?
Think McCarthy was runner up in everton POTY last year so he must be doing something right and he's getting better and better, you can't really believe that Brown is actually better than James, really?
The atmosphere for this is gonna be electric, both fans will make for a fantastic occasion wherever they are all from!
Incidentally I am in with the scots for this, wish I wasn't now!
I tend to agree to a point, he wasted time in Moscow for sure but he seems to have improved since joining everton, he has been so frustrating for us but he is the kinda player we can't leave out cos he can create that bit of magic.
As for Brown v McCarthy there really is no contest!
Apologies if this is in the wrong section so a mod can move if needed.
Anyway I'm expecting a hostile reception for these 2 in a few weeks, just wondering what's the feeling amongst the TA towards these 2 lads? Wouldn't surprise me if one of these is "injured" for this but I hope not
Problem with this game for me is that it will bring its element of irish idiots as its a big game and easy to get to, I just hope they dont ruin it for everyone, they will be a minority for sure but it doesn't take much to cause shit
Cheers for the heads up re: lager! I hear ya on the shit hole comment, you're not the first to say this, hard to know really what's the best to do but I guess the police would rather keep us all together, easier to police
Fai letting people know this week if they got tickets or not while SFA selling tickets to the public for the past week and beside the away section, sounds like another shambles from our end but not surprised really as our association is a joke.
Howya lads, just wondering what the scots think of the irish having a meet up in Gallowgate? Talk of a walk from there up to the ground, police have given the approval to this apparently.
