  1. Awrite.
Planning on being in Lisbon in April as part of a Stag do.
wondering if anyone reading this had experience buying tkts and going to games in Portugal?

Is it dead easy to get tkts for the big teams like Sporting or is like trying to get tkts for the big teams in Scotland?
I’ve already had a look at their website but it’s now exactly the best.
Figured I’d check the fountain of knowledge that is TA.

    cheers.

  2. Just had my flights brought forward from Aberdeen. Too early now as I’m still at work. I’ll no make them.

Now having to get a flight similar to this with a 55 min layover. No booked it yet coz I’m patting my shants about the short turnaround of 55 mins I have.

    Reckon it’s worth the gamble?

  3. I’m now down to just one solitary sticker No. 26, if anybody is still up for swaps.

few days left to at least get it organised even if it’s not quite here on time for Monday.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

  4. Don’t ken if anyone is still checking this thread. But anyone is still looking for swaps I only need 7 to complete it and now the squads announced and tkts being sold I’m back wanting to complete it.

attached a pic of my doublers.

Oh c'mon, it had 1 stange stand, but it wasn't shite. The redevolpment was only 1 year old when we were there and it was literally across the road from the Old Town.

I liked Trnava and her stadium, but I expect it'll be Bratislava next time.

I could be blinded by getting pumped 3-0 and the beer that tasted like mercury. Still a bastard to get to compared to Bratislava.

if it’s in Bratislava, have a grand idea of staying in Vienna and travelling over for the game and back again after.

Wonder what part of Slovakia and Israel we’ll get punted to this time? noticed Bratislava has a shiny new stadium and hopefully the Israelis will save us a trip up to Haifa again

Aye that stadium in Trnava was shite. They’re played ROI in the stadium in Bratislava so hopefully likely to play us there too.

According to uefa.com the fixture window is 19-27th March.

Aye as I was afraid of. Vague yite from UEFA continuing with the week off football ghash that nobody wanted.

Ill no be anywhere near unless it’s Saturday or at best a Friday night

  8. Aye enoug with the slaggin Pitodrie for booing Scotland players. No way they’ll get a game until new stadium is built as the current one is a toilet.

More importantly when is the actual date of this friendly and what day of the week is it?

  9. What'd you reckon the deal will be with colours in the home end?

Some chat about the English getting grief, but then again they are English and likely weren't very well behaved.

5 of us have tkts in home end and to be honest wasn't planning on packing trous, just kilt only.

  10. If there's a Scottish game on tele I'll do my best to watch it. If it's Scottish team in Europe I'll try my best to sift through all the links possible to watch it on whatever daft channel they are showing it, listen to Kazakhi commentary, pop ups at the side etc.

When I first got Sky have to admit used to watch all the English Premiership games as well and for a while it was a routine each weekend. Stopped really bothering as much I reckon about after City won with AGUEERRROO in the last seconds and all that. Over inflated salaries and egos are not worth bothering about. But..... Couldn't help be drawn towards watching Leicester this year but can't be the only one who that happened to

Much prefer going to live matches though as that's what I feel being a scottish football supporter is all about. Paying money to clubs and getting the full match day experience. Don't even think the prices are that bad if you think that clubs need to pay players, staff, stewards etc but then again I don't have to pay for a family to get in to a game.

Never been to a junior match mind you though, ?

  11. Great Result from Iceland and can't believe what I've just watched

    but..

Good thing or bad thing for Scotland that this has happened? We going to be on the end of a backlash? or they'll be struggling for confidence and vulnerable?

Too much (£55) worth it to wind my mates up!

Saw it online for £89. That's far too steep. £55 is still a bit steep but maybe worth it for the wind up factor next time I'm down in England or abroad with on the continent and bump into the EDL.

    Lowlights for me include

Christmas Eve games (No Boxing Day game)

Hogmany games, seriously WTF? Aberdeen away to Hearts on December 31st!

Also Old Firm Derby immediately after Malta v Scotland (Call offs anyone?). I thought we stopped OF games near any Scotland games for that very reason?

    J

This. Who, with a young family not necessarily me, is going to go to the football the day before Christmas. Crowds will be poor that day compared to the relatively well attended Boxing Day fixtures.

Not to mention playing on Hogmanay with Aberdeen having to go to one of the busiest cities on the planet that day to then get back up for their own celebrations. And encouraging the old firm to drink and stumble back in to the city centre to pi$$ off Hogmanay revellers

And the added an imbalance of rangers and Celtic matches to thistle, accies and well.

SPFL made an @rse if these.

  14. What are people still expecting. Into the fitba for a ha'penny and lift your lad over the turnstiles!

They have listened to the fans and made the prices cheaper for Malta, slightly more expensive for the winnable but yet competitive games, and top price bracket for the one team that the whole country wants to see play at Hampden. Think it's fair. And £180 for north stand is relatively speaking fair compared to last campaign.

What they should have done is move the Denmark friendly about to some other stadium.

Preferably hint hint, up north to Pitodrie.
