  1. I can't see it myself.

Like Kenneth said, Rangers don't have the quality in defence to soak up pressure from celtic, or have the players or pace to hurt them on the counter attack. It's not like the Walter Smith era (1st time) where you have a Goram (Simonsen  ) or guys like Gough (Moshni  ) at the back, and you certainly don't have an out ball to Laudrup (law) or Gascoigne (black  ).

Celtic's recent inability to convert chances is the one saving grace for Rangers. Although having seen Celtic a few times, if they were to convert more chances, someone will be on the end of a 6 or 7-0.

i would be very surprised if Black (guaranteed to get a red) or Moshni (bombscare at the back) get a game.

  2. You've more or less summed it up. We'll play Daly up front and McCulloch will lump high balls to him all afternoon. I don't think Black will play as Clipboard Kenny has dropped him for the last few games but Hutton doesn't offer anything at all. It's galling to think that McLeod would actually be getting a game through the middle if we hadn't dropped our knickers to Brentford

Black should have been dropped seasons ago for the boy Telfer to play and he could have been a player for us!!

  3. the big problem i find with this whole story is that at no point will we find out what Ashley has planned until its already upon us. i don't think the rules allow him to come out and say "i'm planning to do this and that" and that could sort out a lot of folks worries he never does that anyway thats why Newcastle fans are always on his back to get him out the club.

over the last few years with all these things appening to Rangers it has really tarnished my love of football to a point when i never even bothered with scotland games. it has came back slowly over the last season but i fear that if all this "going to the wall" stuff happens that'll be it for me done.

  4. For me the difference is that although every club has complete ####tards in their support, Rangers are the only club that seems to encourage that element of their support by cosying up to it and encouraging it through moronic initiatives like the orange strip etc. Not ensuring that fans who spit on away supporters from the top level of the stand is one of the best examples of the way the club, through it's stewarding contractor, don't prevent the behaviours which gain them the bad reputation, which the worst element of their fans the. Revel in, making the situation worse. Celtic used to be just as bad but don't seem to be as bad as they used to be.

how long ago did the orange strips come out? how can you get spat on when the away support is tucked away in a corner under a screen

  5. Myself and two friends reported the Aberdeen 'fans' standing in front of us at Ibrox for singing the Ibrox Disaster song.

They were fuming (Tough titty), we didn't feel safe, (Largely because of their actions) that was 10 years ago and I haven't been back since.

    Scum.

who is scum? the ones singing the song or the Rangers fans at the game?

  6. a couple of weekends ago i was at St James's Park for the Newcastle vs QPR game and what a change it was to be able to have a pint before the game kicked off and one at half time etc. think of the money the clubs could make in sheer profit at say £3.50 quid a pint!

ok they would have to stump up a bit to set up pumps etc but that would pay for itself in the first few games.

i agree with a lot of what Hearn says if trouble is gonna flair up its gonna flair up regardless of the booze in the stadium. Scotland games should be used as a trial first to see how that goes.

  7. In all walks of life you are going to have idiots so football games are no different. a few years back i dug a guy up standing behind me about shouting racist stuff towards Chris Iwelumo coming on as a sub (that was before his honking miss agianst Norway).
