after watching the highlights, we were nowhere near as bad as I thought we were. 4 great chances to make it 1-1, then they go up the park for the sucker punch and it's game over and they are able to dominate possession. Ach well, quality few days anyway.

Not doubting you, in fact I saw the flares for myself from afar but drunken fannies fighting paying no attention to the football amongst men, women and children alike. Elbows flying, juices being knocked about, racism and just general cüntbaggery.
We may have a great support in numbers but that is as far as the term great goes.
Ye I agree, although a big crowd with the right attitude this week could restore some pride. Hopefully with people avoiding Trafalgar Square and opting for Covent Garden or somewhere else would be a good start.

I personally seen more cockwomble Scotland fans fighting amongst themselves that night. It's becoming a common theme at home games
If boys want to fight amongst themselves then that's their problem, but there was loads of kids in the vicinity of where the flares were getting launched, total fannies with no interest in watching the game making sure they ruined it for everyone else in the process.

I wonder how many will be in the wrong end or in the right end but still glorifying the "take over" on Friday would have been getting on their high horse about the Poles at Hampden
Didn't mind the poles in the home until they started throwing flares at people, I like to think when we have guys in the home end they don't behave like total cocks.

Best boozers for setting up camp in Covent Garden? Those street performers will have the best or worst days of their lives.
-
Covent Garden will the place to be both days!
-
No idea why but just have a strange feeling we will win 1-0.

Think there will be a decent enough crowd here on Thur night? We were going ti go to the Walkabout at Temple Bar area but since it's tickets only and it's sold out looking for an alternative watering hole that will be good crack & good atmosphere. 25 of us coming doon for ma brother Inlaws stagger???
Sounds like a plan!

That team wouldnt suprise me, although Id rather see this
Marshall
Paterson - Martin - Berra - Wallace
McArthur - Brown
Snodgrass - Naismith - Burke
GriffithsI would love you to be right but strachan will stick with what he knows depressingly.
even throwing someone like Armstrong in would have been positive.
but rest assured Martin/fletcher will start as will Ritchie and bannan.

I strongly suspect the message re Trafalgar Square will not get out to the wider fan base and the support will congregate here like they always do.
From speaking to a load of boys I think you are right. So let's just go and embrace it, so long as the rememberence stuff has been cleared away!

It's Friday. McGinn to cover Tierney's forays up the park. Armstrong to burst into the box and score a goal.
I like it!

Aye, he wouldn't have got in the German side either, but still scored for us against them. Who from Slovenia would get in the England team? Yet England were lucky to hang on to a 0-0 against them.
The point is that as long as we have the workrate and communication to keep it tight and the pace to hurt England then it's anyone's game. They're not an irresistible force, and the main thing that is likely to lose us the game is if we all turn up deciding we've already lost on paper before a ball is kicked.
This. We may be murder but so are they. Work your balls off and get a bit of luck and you never know, it's the best we can hope for at the moment.
and youre right, a bit of pace is our best defence.

Covent Garden it is. See you there chaps

Anyone had an email about collection yet?
Why bother with collection for this one? There won't be any harvesters for this, these are games people harvest for.

I'm a United fan so was gutted when he left, but genuinely thought he might be one who wouldn't drift at Celtic and become a journeyman like so many others. He's certainly as good as we have in the squad at the moment but young and enthusiastic. Could easily do a better job than bannan I reckon.
-
I'm away with work for the few days leading up to the game and won't be home, any ideas when tickets will be sent out?
-
He impresses me more and more, I can imagine him being a much more effective version of Barry bannan. Should at least be included in the squad, he's young , Scottish and has half a brain, get him in.
-
Thoroughly looking forward to it!

Got train return for £30
My flight return was £50, can't understand why anyone would pay that for a 10 hour bus journey
Trafalgar Square

Lots of self righteousness going on here. I was there from about half 2 onwards, and as always in a crowd that big there was a couple of bawbags but nothing aggressive or threatening. The tourists and many England fans that were there took it good spirit and had a good laugh with us.
saying that a couple of one trip wonders on the tube were complete fannies. An enormous over reaction to what was a good party. Oh and why didn't the thumb play in snoddy, that's the biggest crime I witnessed all day
