We are in the Penta hotel arrived Last night. In Central Moscow at present in Papas bar.

Nice read and a few great tips. The Mrs and me arrive at DME 9.20 pm Sat 5th. Anyone else arriving at that time on the 5th. Could share a taxi to Central Moscow.

Visas back from London office. 20 days exact just as they said. Hotel booked Sat 5th - Sat 12th. Arrive at DME airport 9.20 pm on Sat 5th then train or taxi to central Moscow. Looking forward to this one.

May do a day trip from Moscow to St Petersburg. Morning flight out and night flight back coming in at 56 quid return. Same price if you come back another day.

Been to London Russion Visa office yesterday. As long as you have something written in the boxes including unknown they are happy. They are taking the full 20 days until they return our passports unless we paid an extra 70 quid each. We handed over £230.40 for the two of us so 20 days it is. Never questioned the content on the form. Even took the money before the fingerprints.

Filled ours in and going to London office 18th July. Once you've done the legwork it's easy enough to fill in. As previously stated you don't need to be 100% accurate - how would they know. Never got the question about previous employment, only current employment.

Any hints on areas. I read somewhere that to stay within the most inner ring road when looking at the map. Seems to be called the Garden Ring.

Will use them for the invite letter and tourist voucher as you don't need a hotel booking to get it - £8.99. Will tackle the application another day.

Found this also. You don't need to have a hotel booked. It's one of seems to be many agencies allowed to issue the invite letter / tourist voucher.

Found this guide which says that you only need to enter the countries that you have stamps of visas in your passport and that you do not need to enter places where you don't. Not sure how accurate it is. It also says you don't need to put education or previous employment. Looks a nightmare though. You also need the invite letter and tourist voucher which I have seen for 8.99 from an agency.

We arrive Bologna Fri from Luton at 9.15pm. Stopping the night at the Mercure opposite the train station. Probably get the train 12ish Sat to Rimini.

Just sussed it. Been through both our orders and she has not been allocated a point for Prtugal at Hampden where I have. All other points add up. Should not have to do all this but at least the missing points are traceable.

Very similar to the Revolut card which works a treat with no fees. Just top it up via the app and use it as a credit card where ever in tbe world you like giving you the interbank rates which is the best you can get.

Just booked Stansted to Oslo Sunday 29th March on Ryanair for me and the Mrs. 14.99 each for the basics. You can fly from there to Belgrade if needed or Wizzair go direct to Belgrade from Luton. Will do the return when we know where we're going - if anywhere! Cheap enough if you need to loose the Oslo flight.
