Think that's on Parnell St is it? Absolute kip if that's the one and not in a great area. Stay South side of the Liffey would be my advice. Harcourt St, Camden St and that areaStaying in the Inn on the Liffy, looks good and central, basic but suits my budget! Any good pubs round there? What's Fibbers rock bar like?

what were the Irish lads doing? Not doubting your word just curious? As I said on an other thread the Irish lads were FAR from blameless in the skirmishes I seen. A few of them play the persecuted victim part very well I must say. That said the vast majority were top top lads and were a credit to their country.
Coin throwing, sectarian abuse etc is really poor though, no time for that. Again all I can say is that it's no way consistent with our normal behaviour as a support and hopefully it didn't ruin the trip for anyone.
Had no problems myself. Great craic in crystal bells bar before the game with a coach load of Arbroath lads

He has absolutely no respect from Irish fans. An absolute overpaid buffoon. Trying to stir shit to take the heat of himself and his own fcuk up with distributing tickets here. Anything you read from him just discard lads
-
Our home fans are shite and the fai are more greedy than your lot. There will be plenty of tickets

Does half of 117 be closed off for the security stewards dividing fans?

Lads is there an "ignore" function on this message board?

don't know if you could be arsed but if you go onto Ybig.ie and fire that up you will get a taker straight awayAye if you can give me 7 others together

you looking to get rid of 7 LL tickets?do any of you want to swap 7 Lisbon lion Tickets for 7 other tickets

the fai are pros at this sort of stuff. Passing the blame onto someone else. The sfa were dead right in only allocating minimum amount. That seems a but rich from the FAI. Sounds like they're are laying off blame they should be getting for he way they handled their own processes. We are normally not backing the SFA but they've done nothing wrong with the allocation numbers. That's the rules.
I do however blame them for selling tiks to Irish addresses, if that is what happened.
Absolutely fuming with the fai. Shower of cuunts. In LL lower ourselves now despite missing 1 game in last 2 campaigns

stuff being planned over on YBIG. Yous are more than welcome to register on the forum with any ideasActually that would be a good idea, a really good idea if both sets of fans came together and went for it.

We should have a joint protest in Glasgow with both of our football associations the incompetent s

its an absolute disgrace what the fai have done. Lads following the team for decades getting shafted so that a son of a steward in lansdowne and his mates can go for a piss up. My blood is boiling.Tiny allocation from SFA has resulted in a huge number of Irish fans buying home end tickets.FAI will probably bite back and give TA the minimum 5% for Dublin, ie just 2,500 tickets. I don't know anyone with official ROI block seats for CP.
-
Looks like there is going to be a lot of us scattered in with you lads for this after the huge up the fai has caused with tickets
-
We are all meeting in the gallowgate too. A march/walk is being organised to the ground as well from there. Will be great banter.

None taken Andy ?

the sfa have helped a few thousand Irish fans. Great bunch of ladsAgreed this is a must win game, the c##ts have enough tickets without us bloody helping them

we applied for all 3 aways this autumn about 4/5 months ago. Paid a deposit on all tickets applied for. (25 for scot game)Cheers Greenman, Irish should have been given more tickets than 3,200, would have meant less Irish guys having to buy home end ticket as back up.
How does FAI carry out sale of away match tickets? With us it's a point system based on last 10 away games, so you have a pretty good idea whether you will get ticket or not when allocation announced.
They have a record of our aways for past few years but nobody has much faith in them as anything could happen.
They say season ticket holders with away records get sorted first. Then season ticket holders. Then away travellers with no season ticket.
Biggest problem with the fai is that we don't hear until the last minute what the story is and you are left sitting hoping tickets arrive before you leave. Jokeshop. How does point system work?
Do yous reckon there is much chance of Irish being refused on the styles in away colours on the night? I reckon we will have most of 116 and 117 judging by amounts who have bought tickets on sfa today
-
118-120 is what we are hearingthe tickets on sale now for Lisbon Lions are where I expected the away section to be.Where are the official ROI fans situated then?
-
hi lads. Long time lurker. I haven't heard of anyone who has had their order cancelled. Our allocation is very small and a lot have bought home end tickets as a back up if we are unsuccessful with fai. Been in Georgia and Germany so should be ok but bought 2 in 117 just in case.So have we established are these tickets becoming available because Irish fans have had orders cancelled?
Don't know what the story will be on the gate in colours on the night but we will cross that bridge when we come to it.
