Me and a a mate got a home end ticket from the wee kiosks outside the game last time round. I do remember the security checks but getting into Scotland end was not a problem, no questions asked even after showing the ticket to Police. We did joint a larger group of scots outside and mingled in with them when we went through security.

The pick up point last time is at the entrance to where the stadium is where we will play this time. Right up chavchavadze ave at the park.
That rings a bell. Did not know the venue in Sept is Mikheil Meskhi. Cheers for the early heads up as i would of just hailed a cab to the Boris.

as asc says all good squire ! did it for brussels and jaunt to the dam. You dont know if its the ferry or euro tunnel your getting but all sound. just go with the flow. Not as bad as stagecoach double decker fae guild street to aosta valley for 1990. Dundee boys with their new Kids on the Block cd on repeat, wtf !!

As for 100% pick up, sure it was last time and it was a pain in the Arse. Miles from the town and it pished down half way there and so got taxi back and took over an hour in gridlocked traffic.
All for collections but they need to make them a bit easier.
haha mind that. crazy bland location in the suburbs. Taxi only way to go. Was not even getting a ticket as not a member, thought they would have spares but no red tape n all that. got one from kiosk next to the ground in the end.

Mind the last visit there in 2007, me and mate went as non members. Went to the SSC pick up point but no luck. ended up getting a home end ticket no probs as they had wee kiosks outside the ground. Got through the Scotland turnstile without any bother.

31st aug Katowice to Kutaisi arrive early 1st sept
1st sep bus/train to Butaimi for a couple of days at the beach...... stay in olas hotel ........ free digs
3rd sep bus/train to Tbilisi stay at olas hotel .........free digs
4th,5th,and 6th feck aboot in Tbilisi 7th feck aboot somewhere in Georgia and finish in Kutaisi for my flight to Katowice early on the 8th.
8th,9th,10th feck aboot in Katowice/Crackow stay at olas hoose ......... free digs
11th Katowice to Glasgow and detox
I'm guessing there will be a bit of chipping in with the digs but the flights cost me and Mrs Bunnet £428 which is £214 each
See you in Katowice for flight oot !! Im just going to stay in Kutaisi the Tuesday and get train up wed. ( see previous post in October).

Superb itinerary.
There are cheap routes to be found if inventive, have the time and willing to throw in a train/bus.
Good route, but maybe worth asking your hotel in Tbilisi to cost a transfer from Kutaisi to Tblisi? Not sure what the place is like, but doubt I would like to be hanging around a provincial city at the crack of dawn waiting for a train 6 hours later.

Never been to Kutaisi, never even heard of it prior to checking flights !! Sorry not clear in first post but arrive tues morning in Kutaisi and staying over in Sun Hostel. Check in 9 am. Train to Tbilisi wed afternoon. Staying in old town. la's homestay. Going on me tod just now so if anyone fancies this route give us a buzz.

Out Tuesday 1st Aberdeen - Amsterdam - Kiev - Tbilsi - and same route back Sat 5th = A very reasonable 310 pound
Aye there is some good prices just now. I got booked up last week , Was going to do that route but could not resist,Oot Mon, London Stan - Katowice (Ryanair), Katowice - Kutaisi (Wizz) arrive 04.45 tues, Stay there until the midday train to Tbilisi Wed, arrive 6ish. Back Sat morning, Air Baltic to Lon Gatwick, via riga. Flights when booked £70 quid there and £110 back. will sort out the old overnight megabus from Guild street nearer the time.
