  2. Looking for 3 or 4 scotland fans who will be in Warsaw on the Monday morning ish to visit a school, preferably a bagpipe player too

Ive been contacted by a teacher who loves scotland, its in a district of Warsaw and i could drive and pick up from hotels or the city center to the school and back, i can fit 4 in my car, anyone up for it?

    this is the email

    ---

Actually I've been thinking of inviting some members of the Tartan Army to my school (Lelewel Secondary in Bielany)

My classroom if full of Scottish flags, pics etc. For the past weeks I've been telling my kids about refferendum and bits of your history. Today they were singing Flower of Scotland in all possible versions (from tradittional, through heavy metal up to techno).

I'd be really grateful if you could get a couple or a decent bunch of proper Scottish fans visit my kids on either Mon or Tue just before the game. I I know that they are certain guys with bagpipes coming to matches - having them at my school would be my dream:-)

As I play and sing I could have my bit on stage (if it's appropriate enough). I even have the same guitar strip (Scottish flags) as your star ;-)

  3. Aye, for 2 of you.

Don't suppose you know the Gin & Tonic situation with LOT?

You can drink as much as you want but you have to pay for it, only water and a prince polo bar you get free, I was 8PLN for a beer on my last flight to Romania, so you pay but it isnt expensive

  4. Hi all now taking bookings for the Ted Gigs

Same location before but this will be sent out with ticket numbers

Monday Evening and Tuesday afternoon up to before the match

We had some problems last time folk drinking there in the afternoon then thought and fair enough that they had spent money in the bar why should they leave or have to pay for tickets, was that deliberate so they could get in i dont know but this time there will set rules as there will be a lot more fans there

On Monday the bar will be open as usual in the afternoon but will close at 17:45, it will re-open at 18:00 for private function and entry by ticket only, this is being organised and paid for by me not the pub, this is only the venue. The doors will close at 20:00 and no entry after that, for security & Safety we cant have folk pilling in later on with no ticket etc if you are arriving later than 20:00 due to flights etc some exceptions can be made for entry. On the Tuesday, from 14:00 it will be private function with ticket only entry with the doors closing at a set time probably around 16:00

If you email warsawgig@gmail.com if you would like tickets, stating how many and what days, i will send you paypal details for payment and once payment is received i will send ticket numbers and details, if you would like bank transfer details please state than in the email

Remember and mark a paypal payment as a gift otherwise charges come off

Please put your forum name and name in the description and same with bank transfer, last time i had bank transfers with no names and took me a lot of checking to find out who they were!

Tickets are 5 pounds each ticket

    Cheers, Al

  5. Interesting, thanks.

My knowledge of the cost of living in Poland based solely on beer, food, hotels and public trasport!

Yeah living in Warsaw is not cheap, still less than Scotland though, I'm just buying an apartment and the cost is no difference to my house i had in Scotland

  6. I got my home end tickets last week, Germany & Scotland double ticket, you need a PSEL to get tickets or you have to email them to say you dont have one

Going by the site they are selling fast and the individual sale for Scotland only is not till later this month, not sure if there will be many tickets left
