  1. As I'm getting older my hangovers have brought on bad bouts of skitters. I never used to have that.

Ever been checked for Helicobacter? They reckon 70% or somethign have it, its cured by a dose of anti biotics

Ive never had any stomach issues since and i used to be bothered a lot and had that next day after a few beers too

  2. Sky Go doesn't work as Sky don't allow HDMI out. You can't mirror the screen with it either.

BT Sports does work, but you need to have a good enough SmartDNS/VPN or actually be in the UK for the stream to work.

Some Smart DNS providers cater for this :)

You can seriously get rid of Sky Go & BT Sports though.

Install AceStream & SopCast then the Torrent TV.ru stuff and you're laughing.

Would also recommend installing "The Beast". http://thebeast.spartanpixel.net/- the iVue tv guide is superb, even without any editing of it :ok:

Yip the vpn i use just works fine for sky go & bt on ipad

I might just get one of those pc hdmi sticks with a wireless keyoboard n mouse and use sky go and bt via web & vpn (its only for the weekends & holidays at mother in laws)

  3. Sent a PM... :ok:

I'm actually thinking about getting rid of my satellite receivers, LNBs and other related items.

Bought an Nvidia Shield Android TV which is a beast of a machine. SopCast & AceStream in Kodi for football are as near as HD as you can get if they aren't actual HD.

Will also stream 4k video @ 60fps and the games at 1080p/60fps. Reasonably future proof. Was sceptical about an Android box to replace my satellite, but very happy so far.

What did you use in poland mate? I currently have sky but doesnt pick up some of the channels and now im paying for BT sport wih hd and cant get the hd channels now

i can get the msising channels via amazon fire stick but none on hd

  4. For some reason I had a feeling our new home top was goiong to be same design as the chelsea home top, just looking at the first two taining tops and then checked out the chelsea trainigng wear and same design, I know the training wear can be pretty generic though

  5. Done Krakow twice. Didn't think that much to it to be honest.

Cheap and cheerful is always good but maybe Stuttgart might be the next one to look at........anyone any other recommendations??

I was recently in Bucharest and the old town is brilliant for a night out

  6. Has anyone on the board ever been to either of these cities and if so would they be decent for a lads weekend that would include the usual mix of beer, food and hoors.

With it being Poland both must surely must be inexpensive?

Both are nice but not places for a lads weekend, if you have never been to Krakow go there, lots of pubs, restaurants, lap dancing, and the rest

  7. Your ISP rarely (if ever) block ports and certainly your line has nothing to do with a port being blocked.

BT do....we have many users who at home cannot connect to our VPN, they are all BT, BT said they haven't blocked any ports but they have...

The only reason i can think they do this is to force folk that work from home onto their BT business ADSL

  8. Was looking just the other day at getting back to my PC gaming roots and was wondering get whether or not to get desktop or laptop.

Don't know how much time I would have though as got a 1 year old!

Any idea of price for a half decent machine that can play most games comfortaby?

Build you own...i used to make PC's for folk when i was in Scotland, its easy...get a lot more for your money too

Send me your budget and I'll spec you a pc, I can even give you instructions on how to build it, if not the place where you buy the parts build it for 40 quid
