My Liverpudlian friend sending me constant snippets from the Liverpool Echo would suggest otherwise. Forgetting roots is not really an issue.

Got a fridge full of lager and never touch the stuff since my taste buds got me onto white wine,, and its only Marlborough for me which is a new zealand wine.
I can go back to the days when it was a luxury to go out for a meal and you wouldn't eve look at the wine list, now its so cheap and can't beat a bottle or two of Oyster Bay about £7 a bottle in asda.

My niece got married last week to a Dunfermline boy and had the reception at the footy ground, he is a pars fan, great wee ground and think i have just found myself a Scottish team to support.

Same here thick as fcuk with scottish history, my daughter gets married next week and my future son in law has just gained a masters in history, i was gutted when he told me kilts were not invented in Bannockburn days, i told him he must be reading the wrong books.Though he is patriotic englishman he does like Wallace and what he stood for.

I'd say he averaged 54.526km/hr
tried to convert kilometers into miles to make it easier for those who don't work to kilometers

Think he beat it by about 1.5 k he covered the previous record with about 90 seconds to go.In our terms he rode for 1 hour with a average speed of just on 34 miles an hour.

Was at the game and seen with my own eyes want happened. At the end of day 39 fans went to a football match and never went home.
