I'ved said it a few times regarding Scotland fans.....there's a fine between optimism and lunacy!! Anyone who thinks we'll finish 2nd let alone qualify needs to get a reality check. It's already all about the next Euros!

Players not picked as being too young!! F##kin hare that reason for not selecting someone, fair enough if he isn't good enough or other players are better but age should never be a reason.

Strachan would prob say it's because "the players spend long enough away from their families" and "you know they don't get paid to come along here".....so they shouldn't, the situation is a disgrace!!! Friendlies should be used to try new tactics and see if people on the fringes are able to make the step up to international football, not playing friendlies is ridiculous.

If anyone is still optimistic they really need to get a reality check. 4 home games next year......we couldn't beat Lithuania at home how are we even going to win 2 homes games next year?!! We need to be realistic we have a weakness to us with players who don't have the bottle & a very weak mentality. This campaign is dead to me so I'd use the rest of the games to prepare for the next Euros, to not qualify for that as a host would be more embarrassing than not getting to the last euros.

The Lithuania game was a morgue the worst i've known.....i think the next year we'll have many a worse atmosphere than that game.

Even though I didn't boo I generally think it's made into a bigger issue than it needs to be. They boo ours we boo the UK anthem big whoop!! The lack of respect notion is nonsense as well, we are rivals!

The brutal treatment of some fans.....moan for ages he doesn't play then slag him to after one game! He played quite well i thought caused a lot more unease in the England backline than Martin would have. I seen enough from him that given more opportunities he'll get better at this level.

Anyone who believes if we get beat we will somehow go on to qualify or reach the play offs is beyond insane. I'd agree it's not a must win depending how other results go but the players should play to win, it's definitely a 'must not lose' game.

I've no problem with Brown retiring. If he wants to retire to prolong his career fair do's.....my problem is (like I said) if it's a genuine comeback I'm all for it.
My problem is folk who retire, play no part in any other game but then decide they fancy the big away game in the group i.e Wembley. Which to me kind of feels brown thinks he is bigger than Scotland and we play to his tune.

I think it's a Scottish thing where we think we are more important to others than we actually are. Why on Earth would anyone in England give a about Scottish football? I actually think it's arrogance on our part to think they'd think about us. Do we care about ROI or Welsh football?!

People seem to think you have to be showing visably your respect or you are perceived to be disrespectful. You don't have to wear a poppy on a strip to show your respect. As someone said above it's a personal quiet thing, no need for a song and dance.
