We spend about £70 on our big shop at Aldi every week for us and the 2 kids, that includes nappies, wipes etc. Plenty of fish on offer too, 2 sea bass fillets for £2.59 the other day. We probably top up with about £30 of other stuff throughout the week. Making a menu does help so we know exactly what we need to buy.

I played at Level 11 (Gloucestershire County and Somerset County) and we had programmes. I think most Ayrshire Junior teams still produce a programme

I had a similar Jeremy Kyle experience in Newport, Wales the other Friday. Funk knows why I went in to The Greyhound, the fact I stayed there for another 3 hours is even more of a mystery.

Padstow is a nice base, plenty of nice little pubs and places to eat, however it can be busy. The Custom House on the corner of the harbour is pretty nice for staying and depending on when you go can be reasonable. From Padstow you're half an hour from Newquay, Port Isaac, Boscastle, Tintagel and the Eden Project and has loads of nice beaches round the corner. Also it's not too far down, St.Ives Lands End etc is a further hour and a bit down the road, it's surprising how big Cornwall is.

I always stay in Plockton when I'm up that way rather than on Skye itself, it's is only 10 minutes from the Skye Bridge. Lovely wee place with plenty of nice places to eat and drink at night.

Did the owner have it available on the menu?
He didn't, he said due to the cost of the nutella and the amount required to make a 12" he wouldn't make enough mark up on it. We were the only ones who had the pleasure.

A few years ago I did a bit of moonlighting for the local pizza company down here. Every now and again the owner would treat us to a nutella pizza. Nutella replacing the tomato sauce on the base but then the cheese topping. Sounds absolutely disgusting but it was a taste sensation. I've recreated it at home with nutella on my roasted, toasted cheese on toast. It's not far off. Worth a try, honestly!

I second the salt and vinegar with an inch of butter. The butter soaks in the vinegariness much in the same way a chip roll does - sublime.
Used to be partial to a piece and sugar when I was a boy!!

Last time I was at Rugby Park was the first game of the season against Dundee, I vowed then to never subject him to it. He can make his own poor choices in life without me imposing some on him. Granted, the decision is easier living 400 miles away.

Thanks for all the advice, think I'll go for it. The Haribo game sounds like a plan, the boys sweetie daft.
Pad the day out with a trip to Cardiff Castle and I'll be in the good books for a couple of days I think. I'll also be in the wife's good books, she'll get some peace and I won't be hungover on Sunday. It's a win win.

I've got the option of two tickets for the six nations game against Wales next week at the Millenium Stadium. Was toying with the idea of taken my little boy along but not sure if he's too young. At what age did you guys start taking their kids to things like this. I was about 8 when I first went to a Killie game and that was on the terraces, so the environment nowadays is a whole lot safer. For the record he's 6.

Just dropped the kids off at school. £3 lighter. On the plus side, managed to shift some shite for the raffle.

A lot of them are pish.
What I'm saying is that we seem to buy black players whom play in, normally centre of defence, who are pish.
It's a coincidence that they are all crap, why are none of them good solid players? None since Elliot who was fantastic. Even VVD had his moments.
For those who wish to suggest I'm playing the racial card fire on, it'll not be like Tamb to jump to incorrect conclusions.

Can quite believe the money they are on. I played Gloucestershire & Somerset County Leagues 10 or so years ago, some of the boys I was playing with were getting £40 a game and that's 7 leagues below the conference.
