Scotland have only once since 98 got the full twelve points from the bottom 2 teams.

If Scotland had got twelve points we would have either qualified or made the play off in seven out of the nine tournaments since.

The main reason is we haven't been able to achieve twelve points, other results should not matter if we take care of ourselves
