  1. Having voted Yes, I'll be 'protesting' by singing FoS louder and more defiantly than ever. Particularly as I will be standing alongside two No voters. Nothing has changed for us Yes people in that we wanted to be a nation again on Sept 18 and still do now. For us FoS still has every relevance and it's for the No voters to wrestle with their conscience.

Defiance - the greatest form of protest.

    Totally agree! Loud and proud!!!

  2. Have little think this is what they want and I for one are not giving to them ...don't sing it and it's right in there palms .....heads high join together and sing fekn loud Thig ar latha (our day will come)especially at the England game get as many saltires flying we are better than this.....a very proud yes man ...at least if you voted yes you will stand there with your head high and if you voted no hang yer head in shame....come on fos louder than ever

    Well said.

We should not roll over and die for these s

  3. Put it another way - we have all sung the song through the 90's and 00's with great feeling when Independence was so much further away. I mean what were the opinion polls standing at? Nowhere near 45% i would guess. Now we are at 45% so surely the words can and should be sung with even more belief.

Correct the fight is not over

  4. Jesus. Reading some of the stuff on here is ridiculous

FOS is our song and I think I am right to say the vast majority of Scotland fans voted YES. So we should be singing it loud and clear.

Therefore we will sing it until we finally are free.....the fight lives on. I will not roll over and go I to my box

  5. This is perhaps one of the most confusing thing, for me at least, being an expat.

I see folk on here so confident of a 50+ result on the 18th, and then I look at the odds and articles in the papers which talk about a Yes vote being extremely unlikely. I know on this board we sometimes go a little over the top with things, but are folk that confident, and are they seeing things which the betting companies and journalists arent?

Ive given up on the polls to be honest. I did an analysis of the16-24 year old polls in Survation, and came to the conclusion that it was simply all over the place. One week there would be a 51% Yes indication, the next it would be 55% No. Not surprising since they were always up weighted by at least a factor of two.

Remember the ODDS quoted by the bookies include money placed in Engerland, therefore not a true reflection of what is happening in scotland!
