  1. Thought Barry Bannan was superb last night. Involved throughout the 90 minutes, always looking for the ball and great passing vision.

And i'm not suprised. He played like that all last season for Wednesday.  GS should have him as first name on the team sheet on his current form

Barry Bannan and Ross McCormack were both named in the PFA Championship Team of the Year,

In Bannan's case, 100% deserved. Has been imperious all season.  On the verge of the play-offs. Won't be out of his depth in the Premiership

  3. Another week, another Wednesday win, another Barry Bannan masterclass. He is oozing confidence, playing outrageously well and raising the game of the entire team. Probably the best midfielder seen at Hillsborough for 20 years. (not that there has been a lot of competition mind). Strachan needs to get down here and get him watched

  4. Just back from Birmingham after seeing yet another masterclass from Barry Bannan for Wednesday. Im booked in for Prague, and if BB isnt in the starting line up, then the 11 players picked must be worth a cheeky bet on world cup qualification as group champions.

He really is different class just now, week in week out.

  5. Barry Bannan just signed a three and a half year extension to his contract at Hillsborough. He says he is loving here since the first minute he arrived (its mutual by the way).

A settled, happy Bannan playing regular football can only be of benefit to the National side

  6. Bannan plays as shef wed win 4-1

Barry Bannan has been sensational for us all season. Controls the game, is involved in the majority of our moves and covers every blade of grass for 90 minutes.

Man of the match again today.

Perhaps he has found a club that suits him and he is enjoying his game.

Ross Wallace aint doing too bad either
