Career politician now with no career.........
-
Bye bye dougie Alexander!!
-
Paisley up next!
-
That's a huge win! Wow. The scots results have started to roll in!
-
Tonight could turn into a Proclaimers song;
Harris no more,
Curran no more,
Murphy no more,
Alexander no more...........
-
Yaaaaasss! Margaret Curran has entered the building! Bring on the results! Lol
-
Salmond playing a blinder on STV. Just the right side of smug
STV has been comedy gold tonight, if only for Dugdales whinging face.......
-
Some labour guy saying the electorate wrong
taken in by the cult of personality....
edit: michael connarty
snp have betrayed scotland...duped the people of scotland
Whit an arsehole! Typical labour hatred above and beyond everything else......
-
Farage not winning South Thanet!
Al Murray the pub landlord possibly winning it!
-
BBC talking about Tom Clarke in Coatbridge having a 21k majority overturned! hell.....
28% swing they say.......
-
Dugdale just getting owned there!
Trying to blame McKay and the SNP for letting the Tories back in, he blames Labour for not winning in England, then Ponsonby owns her by saying, "you said to get a Labour government, vote Labour and they haven't".
Dugdale - "Hmmm...."
-
Anybody starting to feel sorry for Kezia?
Nope.
Yer da knows best ;-)
-
Can't help feeling disappointed that people will vote SNP, believing them to be doing the best job for Scotland, but wouldn't feel the same with SNP in charge post independence.......
-
Guy on STV saying there's possibly an SNP underestimation in the exit poll and only Orkney might stop a clean sweep........ Holy f*ck. Still waiting on the results though.......
-
Got 3 bets on tonight and if you believe all the rumours, I'm f***ed after 2.5 hours!
Money well spent, possibly.......
-
I'm going back into pessimistic mode, I cannae take these rumours..........
-
South Lanarkshire 'catastrophe' for Labour
Apparently lost all 4 North Lanarkshire ones too........
-
Rutherglen and Hamilton West, wtf, those figures can't be true.
My constituency. Bet on a Labour hold, SNP needed a 24% swing. If those rumours are true I'm about to lose some money! (Oh well.....)
-
Rutherglen and Hamilton West is my constituency and I expect Greatrex to keep his seat (1.67 on betfair). Probably with a further reduced majority.
Tom Clarke is above even money (2.2), in Coatbridge, Chryston and Bellshill and is defending a 21k+ majority. This is my folks constituency and has been Labour forever, probably another reduced majority but a hold.
These two need a 24% and 26% swing respectively according to Sky news the other day and I don't see it. Happy to lose money on it though. Win these and theres not a safe seat in Scotland, but I still don't think 50+ SNP seats is possible imo (5/6 on paddy power last I heard).
Others I'm looking at include Murphy to keep East Ren. (sadly) and Labour in Airdrie and Shotts
-
I'm looking at sticking money on SNP less than 49.5 seats @ 5/6 (someone mentioned this a few days ago on PaddyPower)
Tom Clarke to hold his seat @ 5/4 and looking at Tom Greatrex to hold Rutherglen and Hamilton West (my current constituency).
-
Just read through them all. There are some absolutely huge Labour majorities in that lot, still find it hard to think the SNP will take as many seats as being predicted. Think some of the names I'd love to see out of a job might survive (sadly). Tom Clarke losing a 21k majority must be unheard of, even if it's predicted as a narrow marginal seat.
-
Tom Clarke is my folks MP (and my old one). I'd be amazed if he wasn't returned, having voted in the constituency for years and read the results in the papers the next day. Usually one of the safer Labour seats, but with North Lanarkshire narrowly going Yes, it'd be crazy to see things finally change.

Interesting, thanks. The misses and I moved house just before Xmas. Still unpacking! When trying to find a home for some stuff the other night, came across a bottle of 21yo (1990 bottled in 2011) Rosebank. Was in a cupboard in utility room. Still in full packaging and unopened. Had never heard of Rosebank, so looked it up and turns out this is worth a bit. Was just going to add to my whisky collection but instead will try and get hold of previous house owners......
Distillery or independent bottler?
It is one of the distilleries that goes for a good price, regardless of the above. Good gesture on ur part too regarding the previous owners
-
The new Rosebank distillery is under construction opposite Beancross. Not sure if there are any problems, it seems to be taking an age to build
Cool. Last I'd heard they were looking to open and use the old equipment but it got stolen (as scrap metal value I assume), had no idea they were in the process.
