Well 'we' (by that I mean Labour supporters like me who dwell in the deepest shires) may have Abbott but they lead us 2-1 in terms of buffoonery: Boris (chased out of Oxford today) and Michael Fallon who tried to diss corbyn till it was pointed out that the quote he referred to was actually made by Boris. May herself makes it 3-1 with her limited grasp of political nous.

Those of you who are surprised (like the plinth) by JC don't realise that he has become battle hardened by 2 years of attacks from his own right wing and his impressive shows in the Leadership hustings with the poor Owen Smith.

coming from Ayrshire myself and being brought up in a mining village, who's family has been traditionally labour supporters, I think Abbott is an absolute catastrofuk of a deputy. She will do more harm than good. I feel that labour has lost its roots, took Scotland for granted and have missed the boat with a new generation of voter's.

As for Boris and Fallon, I couldn't care less.  I would rather get rid of Abbott than say "oh but look at Boris and Fallon" to me that's just letting her off the hook

You suggested a travel ban would counter home grown extremism. As per usual your posts read that of a Daily Mail UKIP voter. Nowt to do with being thick at all. Unless you are using the term in a US sense and complimenting me on my jaw dropping ass curves?

Don't flatter yourself. Daily mail ukip voter?!

Even though I haven't met you and I'm very unlikely too, I didn't want to make any assumption's regarding your curves

Yes, you did clearly say it.

    Nope read my message again!

1st question was- how do we combat homegrown extremism.

2nd was question -Was trump right about implementing a travel ban,

3rd question was a follow-up from the travel ban saying that if he was correct then should the UK adopt the same policy

    You're clearly just thick

Wait, wait, wait. Help me out here? You are suggesting a travel ban might be the answer to stop homegrown extremism?

Nope. I never said that. If someone leaves the country for Iran or Iraq should they be allowed to come back? If there has been evidence that that person has travelled to Syria via Turkey, should they be stopped?

You knew exactly what I meant however nice try

B3ta.com newsletter came out and thought it was partially, amusing in an ironic manner given some of the stuff seen online (less so here for a weird reason) , I thought I would share in a pertinent thread.

Had It been aimed at you I would have quoted you.

However good of you to be self aware that some folk may get a touched nerve by your comments.

    My apologies

Stop bombing their countries, stop using proxy groups who cause more terrorism than western countries will ever experience. Stop selling arms. Stop supporting Israel and Saudi Arabia.

    There's probably more.

The evidence will come out eventually but western intelligence agencies are using Muslims to further their own geo political interests.

And that would stop an ideology?

  7. How do we end an ideology? Muslims have been killing themselves for over 1400 years over their own religion. Since September the 11th 2001 there's been nearly 30,000 terrorist attacks in the name of Islamic jihad, about 29,950 in Muslim majority countries.

Some government sources indicate that anything between 5-20% of the Muslim population either support a terrorist organisation or are sympathetic towards them. Truth is they just don't know. I hope that it's wrong, however let's say that it's 5%. That's 5% of a population of 1.6 billion (Muslims) = 80 million people hellbent on ending western civilisation regardless if your peaceful or not.

Unfortunately the peaceful majority are irrelevant again

They're not doing it because they believe in the burka or not. That's just a convienent excuse for them to hide from saying they are anti muslim. <_<

Alright then I will turn it the way I like.

Perhaps you could leave your small town world and prejudices and go out and meet a few "New Scots" ?  They don't bite and they love Scotland too. People who aren't from Scotland originally but came and settled here are not sitting there plotting to murder us in our beds and take over the place you know.

Apologies over the quotes, new phone and the fact that you can't delete quotes doesn't help

I've already deleted a couple from my friends list on pusbook today for sharing shite about banning the burka.

So I take it you're all for the burka to be worn?

Holland, France, Italy, Bulgaria, Chad, Egypt, Switzerland and Cameroon have all banned the it.

I wouldn't delete friends off Facebook just because they have a different opinion

  10. Sunday nights for football just don't suit alot of people. Getting to Glasgow isn't the problem but getting home definitely is, if there was a boycott then this would've been the easiest game to do it

Armstrong and McKay outstanding in the Old Firm game. Both good enough for our starting 11.

Armstrong has been a key figure for Celtic this season. To imagine that he was nearly out the door in the summer to where he is now is nothing short of outstanding. Goes to show what a change in manager can do for a team/ individuals

Apologies if I've missed this post somewhere lads but it's vast in terms of the content.

Can someone explain to me why the likes of Matt Phillips can't get a look in yet the manager keeps picking the likes of Forrest?

In saying that I think forrest has been great for Celtic this season, he had a good game v Man City at the etihad before going off injured.

Phillips has done well since getting back into the first eleven, as has Charlie Adam at Stoke. Although out of all the midfielders that deserve a chance I will stick my neck out and say Armstrong 100℅ has earned a cap
