Ok if they were being forced to wear them, how many celtic players or coaching staff wore one on Saturday against St Johnstone. Pretty sure no one is being forced to do anything

I think the problem is that the SFA (& other clubs) as an organisation are forcing people to wear them.
You wouldn't be happy if your place of work forced you to do it against your own will.
Its purely an individuals choice.
Who's forcing who to wear them? Pretty sure some of the celtic team didnt wear them

OK, I'll try: It is seen as a symbol of British nationalism, loyalty to Britain, military power and justification for war.
Thanks for getting back, at least you tried to explain it in your own way

Looks very promising.

Can I just ask what political statement or political element does the wearing of a poppy symbolise?
-
Hanlon is a decent enough player, im a wee bit surprised that Andy Considine and Liam Lindsay are not involved
-
Thought I heard on the radio that he was wanting to concentrate on his development at Man Utd before accepting a call up. Radio also says that he feels more Scottish than English
-
IMO Tierney is the best full back in british football today, a real top class player. The release clause in his contract has to be around £20m. We need him to start against Holland as a left back, and if Robertson plays then he's got to play at left mid. We need to have both these players playing down the left.
-
All the scottish players involved v Bayern played really well. Forrest has now set the bar for himself, him and Tierney were superb tonight

How has Lindsay been playing?
Decent enough to merit a call up. He's not any worse than Hanlon and Berra. The Barnsley fans seem to like him, performances recently have been decent

Scott McTominay??? u21 if anything. Not the full team. Plus i dont think he wants to play for us
Yip Scott McTominay. I would've called him up and if he wanted to withdraw then fine. He's played a few games for Man Utd, more or less coming off from the bench, but to try and breakthrough to Man Utd first team is very difficult given that he's a young lad.

Liam Lindsay, Tom Cairney, Kevin McDonald and Scott McTominay should have been call ups and even within the first eleven.
This has been another missed opportunity

Don't think McDonald is better than the current options in the first 11.
Cairney should certainly be ahead of likes of Snodgrass and James Morrison though.
He's on his way up in his career, those two are on their way down.
Perhaps not but he certainly isnt any worse than Fletcher and McArthur. If Brown retires then that opens up a space. We need a fresh looking side for the next campaign, not stuck with the same failed faces time and time again

Jordan Archer had a brilliant game for Millwall at Cardiff, really should be getting a run out in the friendly next month.
Tom Cairney back from injury and scored today, from a Kevin McDonald assist.
Cairney, McDonald and Armstrong should be involved in our first eleven

Tierney left back and Robertson left midfield. Accomodate both players down the left. Plenty of pace and attacking threat down that side , have Paterson and Burke down the right too

Mcgeouchs had terrible injury problems most of his career and is now getting a run of games, not saying he should be in the squad at all but u cant hold his age against him as he hast had a consistent run of games. he has had two good games against celtic twice recently and in a high profile game last night so he is getting some hype because of that nothing more. lets see how he fairs over the rest of the season.
SJM was a standout again last night and should be starting the next friendly however. could do worse than look at paul hanlon as well considering how poor our options are center half.
Hanlon could do a job for us, I remember McGeouch playing in a friendly for Celtic against Real Madrid a few years ago and looked decent

I only saw the first half but McTominay was neat and tidy, wasn't afraid to take possession and good at recycling possession but didn't necessarily do anything spectacular with it.
McBurnie started pretty slowly but had a couple of decent touches as the half wore on.
Cheers bud, will try and catch the highlights. Here's hoping that both players can turn it on and McTominay chooses Scotland

How did McTominay and McBurnie play? I was watching the hibs game instead

Is it though?
He was impressive at youth level when he was physically streets ahead of his peers.
But has he actually done anything at all at a senior level when he’s been physically on a level playing field?
Not that I’m aware of.
Goes on loan for first team games and goes awol. Attitudes like that get you nowhere, its not as if he's been an established first team player elsewhere. Yeah he looked good playing against 16 year olds but I'll be surprised if Chelsea offer him another contract
-
Learned off of Gerard Houllier, Brendan Rogers and Gordon Strachan. He certainly would make an excellent coach but I'd give him the gig as manager. Fresh face with new ideas

Gary McCallister for me

How can it be possible that Islam Feruz is still at Chelsea?
Now that is one wasted talent right there. No doubt he'll see out the remainder of his contract and be released on a free

Should be a black and white photo or a photo of Andy Walker scoring "that" penalty

Speaking of a Gilmour, I hope Billy Gilmoure makes it. What a prospect he is!
