What, nicer than say Kofi Annan,  seventh Secretary-General of the United Nations from January 1997 to December 2006. and co-recipients of the 2001 Nobel Peace Prize?

Joking apart, he may be nice away from work but comes across a bit arrogant at times. I seem to remember when he scored the penalty v Brazil in 1998 WC he celebrated by poiting to his name on the back of his shirt. Never mind the game, look at the scorer.....

I totally agree. I couldn't stand him, but it just shows you.

yeh pumping killie 5-1 in the league cup final was a real low for hibs fans

utter cock of a man tho unfortunately

I used to think that too; however, met him at Loch Lomond Golf Club, and a nicer man you could not meet.

The more I think about it the more I fancy John Collins to do a job

He's unnatached so he'll be cheap, he's based in Scotland and knows the Scottish game inside out. He's also got foreign experience, both managerial and as a player.

He wasn't afraid to chop and change things while at Hibs, granted not always for the better but he was young and new in the managerial game plus he was working alongside Tommy Craig so that explains that.

He'll get the ball on deck and play fast, free-flowing, attractive and attacking football

He'd most definitely do what most people on here want in a manager; try new young players and young players responded well to him

Personally, I'll be absolutely flabbergasted if we don't go foreign. The Scottish alternatives are very uninspiring. Even going back to appointing Strachan, he was the one the majority of fans wanted at the time and if I recall correctly he was in the frame with the same names mentioned at the minute (Smith, McLeish et al)

Why was McLeish whoring himself about Hampden yesterday?

? , Aye, even Kirk in knicker packing would must have worked that one out.

Ideas above her station so she has. Just as well they have introduced nice working class Tim to keep her feet on the ground. And in no way trying to be politically balanced .

You may come to regret mentioning Coronation St Flora. Its my specialist subject. If there is a way to shoehorn it into a thread I will find it. ?

Sally was in Smash Hits years ago....I fear we should start a new thread, Tyder!!!

This is MY thread. Grew up beside Billy. His twin brother was one of my best mates. Don't believe the teary-eyed twaddle about the parents not affording the boys a Killie strip - neither had the slightest interest in football at all. Had a genuine lol when I read that interview.

It's 3 shots off my playing handicap. I deliberately missed the last medal of the year to make sure I stayed at 14.4, so that I can start next season at 14. I'll also be able to bore folk all winter by telling them I took 3 shots off my handicap last season.

I'll almost definitely start my second round, next season, off 15 though.

    Ye'r a bandit, Orra !
