    I thought Cat1 for Hungary were €200?

They introduced another Category called Prime which are Eur 400 per group game and Eur 900 for opener

Great to know. I'm on 12points but live in Amsterdam so was curious how this would work. Hoping there are still some available.

Ross, it is one of the perks of living abroad - always have to collect in host city. Can be a right pain but suppose this time it shouldn't be too much of an issue :-). Did you get a ticket

    Thanks.

I ended up buying a home end ticket through a third party website (yet to receive them) so looks like I no longer require them unless I’ve been scammed or the FFF cancel my order!

Duncan, I have tickets in French end and can only download the tickets from 10 October onwards according to confirmation email I received from FF. So contact the seller tomorrow and hopefully tickets are available. Good luck

  4. I was through Schipol this week and noticed most Oslo flights leave from B terminal gates. UK flights tend to arrive in D Terminal gates - there is a security control and passport check between B and D terminal gates. Hopefully you do not have any issues

on a side note does anyone know why Ajax are in pot one this season? Ahead of Liverpool who have won it and were in the final recently. the whole set up baffles me

Pot 1 is made up of the prior years winners, the winner of the prior year Europa League and the Champions of the top 6 ranked nations. As Real Madrid were Champions League and national title winners, then the Champions of the 7th ranked nation, the Netherlands, and therefore Ajax were put into pot 1.

But the point you made about about the CL destroying domestic league competitions is so true. Although I have been an Ajax season ticket holder for nearly 20 years now, I find the gap between Ajax and the other teams in the league barring PSV has become so large it's unbelievable and affects enjoyment of watching games. Through a combination of CL money, a very very smart marketing department and great transfer policy, Ajax's turnover is now bigger than PSV and Feyenoord combined and bigger than the 3rd placed teams and every other club below them combined.

That's not healthy for any league

I cannae believe after treks to the likes of Khazakhstan albania poland and the usual places I have still got hee haw chance of a ticket. Me and my pal have paid up flights etc so def going. Seen some posts about getting home end tickets and those going on sale on line 6 days before. Went on to the Mldovian footie site and could see nothing about how to buy tickets (but right enough my romanian ain't great shakes😉). Can anyone help ?

Tickets aren't on sale yet in Moldova according to their website. Probably will go on sale after the next Government announcement re covid restrictions.

Late ticket sale is not a bad thing as that probably means tickets will be issued by email in a pdf format rather than physical tickets being sent out.

And tickets will probably go on sale via this website

  8. quick response from SFA to say

'I doubt we would conduct a sale if the majority of the members of the SSC were not allowed to travel. If the UK is still on the red list for Denmark then we probably wouldn’t receive an allocation from the Danish FA.'

I'm hoping to travel from Norway, the flight and digs are already booked, so hoping we get a chance of a ticket. I'm sure there will be a few Danish based TA wanting to go to the game aswell, so hopefully the SFA will take that into account when deciding on wether to accept tickets or not.

Good point - I have emailed the SSC to make this point known - it might be worth asking other foreign based supporters who are free to travel to do the same then that way they are aware of our situation

  10. Although living in Netherlands I am sceptical about attending the game. All UK bar Wales is on Denmark red list as you rightly say. And therefore football not valid reason for travelling. I cannot see SFA accepting any tickets whilst red list continues. And with England opening up on Monday and Scotland to a certain extent the same day I can't see infection rates dropping if the Dutch example is anything to go by. Daily Infection rates here have increased 20 fold in 3 weeks and we were starting off at far lower point than UK. So likelihood of Scotland dropping from Danish Red list is slim.

I am allowed to travel from Netherlands into Denmark without quarantining but can't see SFA accepting any tickets. Best option for me is to buy home end tickets but even that is a problem as you have to have a membership and also it looks like being limited capacity as well. See link

You would be best setting up a UEFA Euro 2020 account on their site.... but at moment nothing.

Imagine in next few weeks SSC will send out a email asking for you to confirm if you will be applying for tickets, then at the start of May they will send out a “code” to people with enough points that you can use of the UEFA Euro 2020 ticket site to purchase your tickets.

It was the same for Oranje Supporters Club - they had to buy tickets via UEFA portal.

We will be the same as everyone else. Their is a part on registration at UEFA ticket portal where you have to put your membership number of any national supporters club. Also payment for tickets is direct to UEFA who will be issuing the tickets with our name on them. So there will be next to no chance UEFA will deviate from this procedure

Will there be a cap, as 1/3 of the Arena and De Kuip is just over 18k, which seems very excessive?

That seems to be the initial indications from news reports.

A lot of discussion going on in Ajax related forums etc about how the clubs will manage this. Both clubs have in excess of 45,000 season ticket holders so will it be a case of opting to attend certain games or a ballot etc.

Overmars at Ajax has indicated that he wants all the "big games" such at the games between Ajax, PSV and Feyenoord to be played in 2nd half of season with hopefully full capacity.

This raises questions re the 3 Scotland home games in October if a crowd is allowed - will tickets be allocated on the existing points system etc

Dutch football media outlets saying their game v Poland on the 4th of September will be played to a 1/3 of capacity of the stadium.

Not yet confirmed - tonight the Dutch PM will make announcement re large gatherings including crowds at football matches. All indications are that spectators will be allowed into matches but with social distancing in place and no chanting allowed at matches 😂

The Eredivisie is due to start September 11 so this will probably be the first large scale crowd at a match in Netherlands since the outbreak.

There was a report yesterday that the owners of the Amsterdam ArenA in conjunction with various other organisations like museums etc are planning to do some analysis into how best to allow larger crowds into events without affecting public health.

Even when pubs do open up, with social distancing and the like you have to imagine they'll be pretty shit places to be in.  TBH, you're probably as well just drinking at home.

Pubs here in Netherlands opened on June 1st and apart from the first day they are still very quiet. Didn't help that it rained quite heavily for days afterwards.

But you are right about social distancing part. Here the outside terraces have to have tables about 2 metres apart and table service only. For a number of terraces you have to book online to reserve a table.  And all sort of regulations if you live in same house etc.

For the inside part, a maximum of 30 people are allowed inside and social distancing to be maintained. It looks very strange as the actual bars have a perspex screen round them and customers are sitting at bar 5 feet apart facing the screen.

Very few bars are busy from what I see. Customers are staying away in droves whether still scared of catching the virus or maybe enjoying drinking at home as it's cheaper or whatever. I was reading that some bars have closed again as social distancing has meant it wasn't worth reopening financially at moment.

It's definitely good bars have reopened but it is certainly not the same experience it was before. It will take a long time if ever that pubs will be back to what they were before the pandemic.

Been an Ajax season card holder on and off for last 17 years and sadly for last 10 years the Feyenoord v Ajax has lost it's shine for me as no away fans allowed. My first ever Ajax game over here was v Feyenoord in 2003 when Van Der Vaart scored with outrageous overhead back heeler. Atmosphere before game was plain crazy with fans trying to get at each other through riot police cordon. Sadly those days are no longer

FYI for those swithering on applying for tickets.

Uefa are selling 85% off all available tickets for UEFA 2020 in this phase of ticket sales regardless of stadium capacity, Hampden capacity listed with them as 52, 060.  The remaining 15% are being held back for sponsors + tickets for the retrospective football associations fans to apply for tickets when the teams and fixtures are announced after the qualification ends in November.

Of this15%. approx. 9% is took by sponsors and white collar affiliated members and 3% each will be given to each Football Association for game day matches. therefore 3% will be given to the SFA for the SSC members presuming we qualify. 3% is only 1562 tickets, so If you don't want to take a chance applying for tickets the now through the UEFA 2020 site and you would rather wait to see if we qualify then currently you will have to have 11 points or more to have a chance of getting a ticket, no one below 11 points currently will have a chance to get a ticket through the SSC points system. Obviously the number of people on the points system will change with some away games coming off and others being added but id say you will have to be on minimum 11-12 points to be in with a chance to get tickets if we do qualify.........

Are you sure this is correct as the UEFA brochure shows following as allocations

    Quotas                                                                            2016  2020
    General public                                                                 42%  50% (1.5m tickets)
Participating National Associations (PNAs)             32%  32%*
Commercial partners (sponsors and broadcasters) 13% 9%*
    Official Hospitality                                                             6%  4%*
UEFA football family and corporate social resp.          4% 1%*
    Host country/countries and host cities                         2% 3%*
    VIP guests                                                                           1% 1%*
Comparison of ticket allocations for EURO 2016 and EURO 2020

I read this as being 32% for the teams competing in a game which is 16% each and SFA will also get 3% as being the host country irrespective of who plays at Hampden

  17. What about Viktor Fischer? Was he not meant to be next big thing a couple season ago? Good goal tonight.

Fischer was rated a couple of seasons back but suffered a bad injury 2 seasons ago and he was out for over a year. Just finding his way back into the team but looks to have lost some of his sharpness. Whether he will ever fulfill his potential is a matter of time

  18. So we are not top sides because we are in the Europa league? That must mean the ones that didn't even make it in must be utter pish lol

I don't care about teams who didn't qualify for Europa League but if you honestly think Ajax are a quality side then you are welcome to your opinion. As an Ajax fan I will disagree.

And yes, neither is a top side. If they were they would have beat decidedly average teams in the Champions League qualifiers and been playing the last 2 nights instead of tonight in this competition

  19. As an Ajax season ticket holder of 10 years plus I will agree with Rossy in this case, the current Ajax team are utter pish. I can't find one Ajax fan who says otherwise. At least in the past there was a few players you can imagine playing at a much higher level, this current Ajax side I can see maybe one or two at most.

Good point for Celtic but don't be deluded that you are playing a top side. You werent and neither side is and that's why both are playing in the Europa League.
