I respect ALL who have died in war irrespective of which side they are on, but I don't wear an Earl Haig fund or RBL poppy. I wear the white peace poppy, the symbol of the Peace Pledge Union, formed by the wives of those who gave their lives on all sides in the 1st World War. So, I'll be wearing that.

Always stay in Premier Inn Watford and get the tube right intae Wembley Park. Never see the point of staying in Central London.

Spot on. About the size o' my front room though. Mabel's Tavern in Mabledon St, next RHS side street past Premier Inn is a great pub wi' great beer. Walk up Euston Rd from there to Euston Sq tube station and the Metroplitan Line takes you directly to Wembley Park.

OK folks, there seems tae be a wee squad assembling for this flight. There's 3 'o us and probably mair folk we don't know of. I'll be in the bar in the terminal from about 4 pm onwards. I'll keep baith eyes out for ye.

Just back today from 10 days recce mission at the Dom Jose in Quateira and all I can stay about the previous posts is that it must have changed lot in the 22years since the guy that said it was shite was there. Bars, restaurants and wee cafés everywhere. I stayed in Dom Jose; great hotel wi' brilliant facilities right on the beach. Back there for 2 nights on 10th Oct.

2 of us from the Wirral (Merseyside) on the Monarch 06:10 to Zagreb and 12:37 train to Ljubljana. Return Mon 9th 10:30 coach to Zagreb and flight 21:30 to Man.
Did this in reverse (Ljubljana to Zagreb) in 1989 for Scotland v Yugoslavia. We got beaten 3-1. Gordon Durie scored.
