  1. Great evening in the Iron Horse tonight. Serenaded by the Morrison brothers following a regaling of the history of St. Andrew by John Daly. Tam Coyle, an up and coming youngster DJ provided the background music whilst Jim Brown (the original elder statesman) compered the evening. Raised some rupees for the sunshine appeal ........... Good cause, good company, great club!

  2. facts are facts. Glasgow and Dundee are YES voting cities, therefore, the National team should only play in either of these.

Without wishing to be considered rude or of disagreeing slightly strongly .......... what a load of pish! Alloa voted yes ....... let's play at Indodrill stadium (posh new name for the Recs) :cheers3:

  3. I read it as the price being 'laughable'. Surely that's what he meant, no?

I am not sue mate, I read it differently and for me it reads like Peter was saying that pricing was used as an excuse for some not to go. I dare say that for some this may be true but for many it would also be the reason. Peter could clarify if he likes; he has given his opinion and is entitled to his view either way.
  4. excuses excuses excuses

firstly the referendum ..............feckall to do with football

    secondly the price ..................laughable

    thirdly boycott..........................another excuse

fourthly the sfa........................if you can do better get yer cv in for the next vacancy

every week lots of people jump on here to shoot down everyone they can i am happy to tell you same as i tell everyone if your that unhappy about the way the supporters club is run dinnae renew your membership and see if your any happier.

personally at times i think the sfa could do better on some things but over the years they have been sound i have managed to get a ticket for every game i have wanted to attend

the irish game last week they went with the uefa quota on tickets for away fans why should we give them more when people on here

saying theyre a bag of """""" .as far as i am concerned it was a good move little support as poss for the away team.

the german game everyone who wanted a ticket got one

    same in poland

in fact i am sure this was the same for the last ten away games

you can sit with your mates policy introduced

their is some good points for being a member but if the sfa are as bad as you are making out try leaving and see how you do

personally i am all for guys like yersell to give them the big cheerio cheerio cheerio

and when the tourny in france is on weel all give you a big wave on the telly cos you willny have a ticket (sfa supporters only)

    INCOMING!!!!!!!
  5. Certainly agree. If fairy godmother came doon waving her wand and telling me I could be Brazilian/German/ Argentinian if I wanted, 'My wish is your command' and all that , I'd tell her tae GTF.

Still get the buzz for every Scotland game, even last night, but last night was somehow different. Friday much better, much more important. Could mebbes ask Fairy Godmother to ensure England never, ever qualify for another tournament finals.

    This......
  6. Mind you we did make a loose suggestion that Jimmy Saville was "one of your own" ....... One guy behind me even suggested that Saville even played footy for them and was particularly skilled at playing in the hole ....... He took that way too far TBH and a few gave him pelters.

  7. what?? I will never sing that song again, at least not until we ever get Independence[/quote

Feck me, why didn't you let everykent know that before the Indy vote, I am sure this would have swung it for us.

  8. One absolute walloper in the row in front of me in the North Stand giving two Irish lads dogs abuse after we scored. He was completely out of order and those he was with were mortified. We told him to shut the feck up as he was close to getting a slap. Telling the guys to get the feck out of our end? Any away trip I have attended I have always seen TA in the home end; the Irish guys were being no different. Anyway, I hope the tosser is not there on Tuesday.

  9. What an awfully sickening tragedy this is. It is not right that anyone goes to a football match and for things like this to happen. Condolences to all of his family and friends - RIP.

  10. got a horrible nasty feeling about the next two games which would probably mean we're strugglin for third. Think we might fold eventually in warsaw late in the second half. and think roi's going to rise to the occassion at CP and hit us with a goal each half. Should have been played at ibrox that one to limit the chance of any perceived advantage they would believe they had.

Jeezo Jeck ....... How long have you been an inspirational speaker? Respect your opinion but nothing lighting up a room with your optimism eh?
