I am down there every 2nd week and love it to be honest, it took me a while to find places to go, I wouldn't say the centre is any better or worse than most places.
Proper working class place with a pint under £2 in loads of places, the locals are fantastic.

Some class places in Sunderland, can only assume the OP drove with his eyes closed, Gin bars, bavaria beer houses, some decent restaurants, happy as larry if people want to big up Newcastle, craic on, keep the Wearside Riviera to the locals.

I wish our owner spent what Ashley has, I will miss humping them twice a season but it comes a time when you fall out of love with football. No doubt we will see them the season after next to make it 6 in a row.

Delighted the gutless clueless Poyet was booted, his 'brand' of football was atrocious and his tactics just the same. Quite happy with Big Dirkie, think he will steady us and we should get enough points to limp home again. As for the long term plan I think it will be Paul Clement who is pals with the DoF. Football wise Poyet tried a short passing game but we have no pace so just ended up getting picked off by any one faster than an Oil tanker off Roker.

Thanks Robert but the group have decided to make our own way to Faro due to other people staying there, and wanting to spend the day with them. Hopefully it hasn't messed any plans but good luck and top marks for the effort

unfortunately I have only came across this story as a lad I know on another forum mentioned a group near them were getting bottles thrown at them.
No room for this within Scotland support.
