    And didn't the SFA once have a media rep with an account on the TAMB ? They would respond to queries and criticism on the likes of ticket sales, travel information, merchandise, supporter behaviour, matchday catering and facilities ?

    A mate of mine (Rangers fan) read the forum too and registered two accounts which ended well ...........

    One he made a few posts with during the latter end of the 2007-08 season. Have taken a look for them in the archived threads mentioned from 2008 but can't find them. Can't remember what his username was, think it was something like "TheTartanGer". Anyway he got banned on the night they lost the final in Manchester. He was very emotional and posted after someone taking the pish when the final whistle went "this is not the time for you to be cheeky with me because I am not in the mood" and then after someone else replied with more pish taking he posted "if you weren't behind that computer screen I'd knock your face back into last week". Next day he found his username and password weren't recognised anymore.

    The other one he had was called "Gazzah" I'm fairly sure. He had a run in during in 2008 with someone (I'm positive it was Cove Sheep, wonder if he remembers ?) over a thread entitled "Good News For Rangers Fans With Kids" about plans to introduce a British oath of allegiance for schoolchildren. After a couple of strongly worded posts involving the then poor form of Jimmy Calderwood's Aberdeen team and accusing the entire Aberdeen support of rampant bestiality - this account too was closed forever. I distinctly remember that episode because we were in a classroom at the time, I was sitting right next to him, looking on as he angrily typed his reply. 

    He's a plumber now.

    Ron actually turned to being quite a fervent SNP supporter in the YES campaign.  He also ended up renouncing drink and became a born again Christian and can still be seen at Ibrox some weeks selling The Watchtower magazine.

    Old Tambers don't die we just go into hibernation.    But reading about this guy did take me back to the halcyon days of FloraMcd and HawkeyeRanoo etc. so thought I'd have a look.

    Funny thing is, my account showed 0 posts when I logged in (and I'm pretty sure I had more than that :-) ), but my two warnings are still there! lol

    Late eighties early nineties. 'Naked video, kick up the eighties, Fred Macauley, bing hitler (as craig ferguson I think the best stand up I've seen), Jerry sadowitz (saw him a couple of weeks ago still funny as ), absolutely'.

     

    oh and Bruce Morton and one of the funniest guys I've ever seen boy called 'parrot' supported someone at a gold bier comedy night at the lemon tree and promptly disappeared but he was brilliant

    a lot of it down to the BBC Scotland comedy unit

    Havent been on here for ages but after reading about this guy on the banned from tambers page had to have a look. If he is real and not an elaborate spoof (though he seems to be beyond parody to be honest) then he quite clearly needs to seek help.  Not trying to be funny when I say that, genuinely think he needs to get help
