  1. Temple Bar is somewhere that I always say you should go and see, but avoid spending all your time in.

It's expensive and touristy, but it's worth seeing and spending some time in. Most bars have some live music on regardless of the time or day of the week.

There are better places and cheaper places to go at night but midweek during the day I usually managed to find one or two pubs that were busy with a good atmosphere.

Spot on & hit the nail on the head I would say! Temple Bar is definitely worth a stroll round for a few beers and I am positive the atmosphere will be great there.

  2. If you are right, that could be because all the tickets for the section were bought by Scotland fans as part of the Duo Packages. That would be amazing.

I was thinking that. The duo package was snapped very quickly so if not full of us there will certainly be a right good number!! Magic!! See you there!!

  3. When i worked in Dublin for a bit I used to go upstairs to the arrivals area when I got off the plane. The taxi rank usually had a queue a mile long but if you went to arrivals the drivers were dropping off and were more than happy to get another fare back in to the city if you asked.

This was a couple of years a go but if its not changed it will save you a wee half hour or so.

  4. Saw a few Irish dotted around the home stands here and there. First thing I saw after going through the turnstiles was two guys with green and white scarves on. No 'denied entry' there, which is fair enough.

I also spotted a Belgium flag draped over the trackside wall???

There were 4/5 Belgian guys over for the game and were in the Iron Horse pub and bus. Guess they just love the TAMexperience

  5. Cracking day! A pint in the Electric in Motherwell then train to Glasgow. Rest of the day in the Iron Horse which was excellent and great atmosphere. Buses from there ran like a Swiss watch to Ibrox. Quick couple of jaegers in the Wee Rangers Club then 3 points!!

Back on the bus to the Iron Horse and wee sing song there before getting train back to Electric for last couple of drinks.

    All in all superb!! Cheers
