I asked the Georgian consulate via email at the start of the week... zero reply. Never heard of this before and if you're travelling hand luggage only, they'll not see what's in your bag unless you get stopped and searched.0207 348 1942 if you want to phone the consulate in London.... no reply when I phoned and its too late for me to do anything now.

30mins from the airport suggests its easily possible.. famous last words. But in the interest of time, does anyone know the best area to head for?

We're heading via Kiev on Wednesday and have almost a 6.5hr connection. Can a in/out job be done to Kiev city centre??? Should it be done seeing the current protests??
If so... where should we aim for in the short time frame?
