  1. Good idea l would imagine you will get a flight for about the £90 mark is it ringwood your in laws are from or Bournemouth ?

Used to be, wife's mum used to own the florist arcade of flowers near the furlong, now in verwood.
  2. can fly from Bournemouth to Malta so a nice wee easy one there has with the England game

Hmmm sensing a family visit to the mother in laws then bugger off with my 18 yr old son for couple of days ????
  3. Hi all, I won a place at hampden tomorrow but as I'm on Arran and working I can't make it!!

Don't think I'd be breaking any rules if someone took my place, I'm on the register with a plus one, I presume anyone wanting to take my place just needs to call themselves Dougie Macfarlane for the day and know my membership number!

Like I say I don't think I'm doing anything wrong with this post, no doubt someone will soon tell me if i am but if anyone interested just let me know. Dougie..

  4. It could happen. There are 9 groups. 7 of the groups are 6 team groups. Only 4 of the biggies are in pot 1 and 2 are in pot 2. The 2 pot two biggies could end up in a group along with a pot 1 biggy, although it wouldn't surprise me if they fixed it so that all the biggies are kept apart. But even then there will be one group of 6 teams which doesn't have one of the biggies in it.

I bow to ur superior knowledge ?
  5. Best

    Wales

    Austria

    SCOTLAND

    Faroe Islands

    Armenia

    San Marino

    Worst

    Germany

    France

    SCOTLAND

    Turkey

    Azerbaijan

    Kazakhstan

    Agree?

Don't think this can happen as the 6 biggies are in the groups of 6, we need to be in a five group to avoid them!
  6. As stated by others instead of a secret public sale why not have a 48hr sale for members then if some left over go public sale IMO sfa have scored many own goals this campaign this "gesture" would go a long way in a consolation goal ??

I'm pretty sure that's the plan!
  7. Just been told on the phone by the SSC that "no decision has been made on the next step in ticket sales". They Said keep an eye on your emails and we will contact all SSC members with information as soon as they decide.

Half the time it depends who you get!!!!

That's what I was told this morning, when ur email arrives this weekend you'll see what I said was right!

  8. There's another thread in general called ticket sales, I phoned this morning and was told there would now be a public sale next week but to keep an eye on my emails as members are getting a heads up first, maximum 4 tickets a person.

  9. What do you mean? There will be a public sale but SSC members will get a chance to access the sale first before the great unwashed?

That's what I'm led to believe, she said it's going to a public sale but members will get the email first over the weekend so I'm hoping we'll get in first before joe public!!!

  10. Just phoned ssc going to public sale next week but members getting an email first to give them a heads up over the weekend, maximum of 4 per person so doubt public will get any if the members are after some for their friends!!!

  11. There are thousands of Scots who are not SSC members who are waiting to buy tickets for both of these games and they will get their chance.

It's just a matter of how many tickets will be available for the public sale.

Even if they open the sale up to members who have already bought a ticket I think there will still be a public sale.

There are folk on here that seem to think the 20 odd thousand members who have already bought a ticket are all sitting about waiting anxiously to buy another ticket which I just don't think is true.

The fact is that most members already go to games with their mates who support Scotland. I offered a few mates the chance of my additional tickets last Friday and none of them were interested. Not 2-3 months before the matches anyway.

Sorry but disagree I've loads of guys at me for both games, as I've said 3 times now on here I've spoken over the phone direct to the ssc office and they said immediately there will not be a public sale!!!!!

Maybe I'm talkin a different language to some on here, I give up....

  12. I read it as if you are a SSC member who for whatever reason did not take up your ticket, you can now buy your ticket again.

So at the moment, no more for season ticket holders.

No extras for anyone in the SSC who has already bought their ticket.

    J

    Correctamundo!!!!!!

  13. West stand full for Poland, had to get my son a ticket so asked for a7 the last seats between away and home support as I can get him through the turnstiles and then stand with the 7 of us! The chap had to go and ask if he could sell an away ticket and came back saying they're starting to open up away seats to Scott's fans so looking like less n less poles!!

    Happy days...

  14. 12,000 tickets over all or for each game?

Presume just Poland game, never thought to ask, yeah needs clarifying as I was told I couldn't get another one as I had one yet the guy above seems to think everyone can get one! Think it depends who answers the phone what story you get!!!

  15. just phoned ssc and been told an email coming out any minute detailing next stage, as far as i can see she said theres 12000 left and there will not be a public sale, i asked how many more i could purchase and was told it was for members who missed out first time!!!

i can only assume if any left after that then members who got first time round will then have dibs on the leftovers, thats twice ive been told over the phone this week ther will not be a public sale, think there trying to limt the poles in the ground!!!

  16. Phoned ssc yesterday to enquire about sales, according to the wee lassie I spoke to they're convinced there will be no public sale as season ticket holders will snap up the remaining tickets so if you want one I guess you'll need to speak nicely to a season ticket holder!!!

  17. tickets arrived here in sunny bournemouth this morning

Take it u live in bournmouth, my wife's from ringwood, my son is at college in bournmouth, was thinking of going to head down an watch the odd bournmouth game with kilts to cheer on wee Ritchie!?!?

  18. There's a great Irish pub just off ramblas opposite side from macdonalds and kfc just doon the lane! Loads of TVs

Can't remember the name as we were permanently pishd!!!

Think it was a bucket of beer for 10 euro (5 bottles)

  19. 500 quid for a 6ft by 4ft flag.

You need your head looked at.

    Geezus!!! That's what I thought!

We got material and took to a local lads who sourced the wording online, it's awesome and totally massive cheap as chips too, no safety ticket but only place we've ever beed told it's not to come in was craven cottage but that was due to a wee shite of a steward rather than anything else!!!
