  1. He is giving the ball away a lot but Scotland need him to try things as he and Forrest look only two going to create anything.

Jesus pal, you've posted 10 times on the TAMB and every post has mentioned how good Forrest is.

I hope for his sake you're a friend / family member / celtic fan?

  2. You are speaking absolute nonsense.

Forrest looked up and picked out Brown/Ritchie and had done the same earlier with Naismith.

Been along with Ritchie Scotlands best player and lost it far less than majority of other players.

Well we'll see who Strachan agrees with shortly.

  3. Forrest along with Ritchie was Scotlands best player in that half, even before the goal.

Forrest has lost the ball probably less than anyone else but people just like to pick him out time and again.

Absolute nonsense. He never looks up - he just hits his crosses and balls into the box towards vague areas. Doesn't have a clue who's arriving for it. Normally to the poles.

Even the assist, watch it again, it was a scuffed ball hit back at an area between a few players, and luckily reached Ritchie.

  4. It's unreal the difference between Poland attacking our 18 yard box and us attacking theirs.

Has Forrest done any crosses / passes / shots that hasn't hit a polish player first ?

  5. It might be leandowski but he chose a near post shot that just scraped in. 4/5 times Marshall's foot would've hit it away.

We're getting back into it now, it's settled down. MON SCOTLAND!

  6. I had actually come round in the last few days to wanting Griffiths to start.

Can't believe Forrest is in. Supposedly he played well vs Fenerbahce but he had no impact when he came on vs Georgia and against Germany his final ball was terrible.

  7. Some people in the comments not getting that a report on Trump shooting 43 muslims dead was satire:

I doubt the credulity of this news report. I am a life-long practicing Catholic and, if the above is true, I want Trump indicted as a mass murderer. This article equates Donald Trump with the mass murderer Dillon Roof who killed nine Christians at a prayer meeting IN the AME church in Charleston, SC.
  8. An argument my mate was using last night in defence of the english league being "the best in the world" is that these days the EPL is extremely competitive - perhaps not the final standings at the top of the league, but each weekend any team can beat any team. This leads to the situation where players cannot be rested in domestic games before CL games for fear of dropping points. Every game becomes a 'must not lose.'

For example last season when Chelsea won the league, they only handed out the occasional humping to the other EPL teams, whereas Barcelona regularly hand out multi-goal humpings to La Liga minnows and are able to rest players from the majority of domestic games if it's felt they're needed for the bigger CL game. Same for Bayern.

Made me think, anyway. The more competitive a league becomes, the less time / effort / attention the clubs can divert to Europe. In leagues where there's a runaway leader or 2, they have that luxury.

  9. Got a mate up in Leeds tonight hoping to get a ticket, so if anyone needs a sale PM me and I'll put you in touch.

Incredibly long shot I know! He's already resigned to watching it in a boozer.
