The realisation that now i won't see scotland at a tournament finals in either my 20s or 30s is a killer.

Three points for a win has cost us this time. In old money we'd have been second, 13 points to Slovakia's 12.
Having 'the internet' has cost us your opinion.
What's your point caller?

Chucking it voluntarily:
Brown, Gordon, Fletcher, Strachan, McGhee
Last game non-voluntarily:
Mulgrew, Bannan, Phillips

The last time we played im them in a competitive game in Slovenia it was the last game of the canpaign in 2005 and we beat them 0-3.
Just sayin.
Yeah, I've used that scoreline + Griffiths for one of my more optimistic scorecasts.

Divorce.

They don’t. Bosnia aren’t in 2nd place anymore. Greece are.
Ah yeah, right you are. But that's still the group that's below us and has guaranteed our playoff place if we win.

Itv4 there just said Scotland are now bottom of 2nd placed teams..
ITV4 must have a broken calculator. Can't see how they have Bosnia above us.

They are still in it. I’m not implying it’s realistic.
The soft penalty was expected.
You're the worst type of pedant.

Netherlands get a convenient penalty to keep them in it......
Hardly keeping them in it - they've left it too late, they need too many goals now.
-
Belarus 1-1 Netherlands too at the moment, game over for them. Think they needed a shit load of goals tonight.

Tuning into watch the Dutch on itv4, although looks like curtains for them now
Aye, looking unlikely. Advocaat to get sacked in the morning?

Play-off table as it stands Position/Team Played Goal difference Goals scored Pts 1 Portugal 6 +18 21 15 2 Italy 7 +3 11 14 3 Denmark 7 +7 12 13 4 Northern Ireland 7 +5 10 13 5 Wales 7 +2 7 11 6 Croatia 7 +2 6 11 7 Scotland 7 -1 8 11 8 Sweden 6 +3 10 10 9 Bosnia-Herzegovina 6 +2 10 8 That's not as it stands - Sweden and Bosnia have now played 7 and Sweden are now above France who are now in 2nd place for the time being.
But yeah, Bosnia are on 8pts with 7 played so all good.

Magic. Makes tomorrow a tiny wee bit simpler.

Yeah but those stats are from when they were still in a qualification battle. Let's see what they're like with nothing / little to play for.

Seriously? In 6 months this will pretty much be forgotten and everyone will be booking their £30 return flights again.
Unfortunately true. There was a good bit on John Oliver's show last week that mentioned that since Delta Airlines forcibly threw that guy off one of their flights back in July, their reservations weren't even affected despite the worldwide outrage.
That's what happens when an airline has a monopoly on a route. If there's no other direct option, there's no other direct option.

It was back in 2000 or 2001 I joined, definitely before the Belgium game where we lost 2-0 and our WC '02 campaign ended as I remember organising / researching some stuff for that on the TAMB.
The main thing I remember about the early days was that a week after I joined, a soon-to-be-infamous poster named Hawkeye Ranoo started posting, after finding the board through his son Richie. I think for the first month or two he wrote constantly in slang, all 'ra' this and 'ra' that, before he got so much stick he cut it out. I never even knew such such a dialect existed up until then, I expected all weegies to write slang like it was in the Broons.
Every day's a school day on the TAMB.

Gaz Top & Violet Berlin last weekend in Harrow.

Christ, a bit above standard inflation since then I would say. Cheers for checking.

Probably about right, inflation wise, for a 1989 new cavalier,
Cheers for checking!

I'm holding out until they allow plates from agricultural vehicles to be moved to cars
have a single digit and 3 characters - valued at GBP 6K in 87
not told my brother it's me who has the registration (paper) docs from a 57 Ford Major :-)
I can understand some folk wanting to hide age on their car
my mate has 2 private plates i think - he likes to spend his money on cars - ir around 37 and i think he has owned over the years say 35-45 cars = loses a whoore of money on them - seen him getting rid of BNW/Audi at 3 months old cos he didnt like it
Growing up in Wick 30 years ago there was an old woman round the corner who had a little red Austin Mini Metro with ASK 1. Guess it was her husband's before he died or something, SK was the Highlands 2-letter code so it didn't travel far. Anyway, after years of having both car & plate, we then saw her driving round in a brand new Vauxhall Cavalier or similar with ASK 9. Turns out someone had approached her with the deal of swapping her ASK 1 plate for both brand new car and ASK 9. She thought she'd hit the jackpot, couldn't believe someone would do such a swap for a single digit difference.
Wonder how much ASK 1 is worth now. More than a brand new Vauxhall I'd wager!

I still have 3 x 70 EUR tickets unused from that game after getting scotland end tickets from the travel club late on. Couldn't give them away outside the ground, many others were in the same position.
I remember staring at the scoreboard in disbelief, watching that clock click away. Unreal feeling. Best scotland game I've yet attended during the best campaign since '98.
Maybe its our fault?

To be fair they saw a massive decrease in Scotland travel club + season tickets this time around. Maybe needs a few campaigns for it to percolate through.
I won't be renewing unless it the terms are massively different.
