[Perth , Scotland - Kiltwalk 2015]

Taking part in my 5th Kiltwalk and this year we are doing the Perth event,so we are looking for any ideas about B & B`s or Hotels in the local area .

The walk starts and finishes in North Inch park so somewhere close by would be ideal , the wife says she`s not camping though so the park itself isn`t an option .

Father-in-law texted my wife last night (she is from Suffolk originally ) to make sure we were ok as he`d seen it on the news . The fact we live 4 miles from the border and about 90 miles from Glasgow passed him by obviously .

Got him panicking him now though as we said he was more at risk as they lived under the flightpath of Heathrow and Stansted .

`85 Was my first game against England .

I`d been going to other internationals since I was 12 on the QOTS supporters` busses , but my mum said I wasn`t allowed to go to see England until I was older and accompanied by a responsible adult ( in this case it was my 24 year old brother , who was neither responsible or particularly an adult . )

Anyway I was in the `Celtic` end and it peed down the whole game but I went home soaked but happy until i got in and my mum hit the roof as I was covered in what she was convinced was blood . Took a bit of convincing her that the dye from my lion rampant flag which i`d put over my head to protect me from the weather , had ran and made my skin and everything i was wearing dark red

We've gone for pretty pricey flights. Just booked yesterday and it cost me £360 return.

Aberdeen to Amsterdam, meeting my mate there, then on to Kiev and finally Tbilisi. All on KLM. Same route for the return.

Really looking forward to it. This is a country I'd never otherwise have visited so it's a good wee box ticker!

We go thursday to sunday , same flights probably( as price is the same ) but substitute aberdeen with newcastle
