    You can get a bus to Hitchin from the airport. Small market town with a good selection of pubs and places to eat. 20 minutes in the bus. St Albans is also a good shout but the station is a bit out of town. Harpenden is probably better in terms of access from the station but it has less to offer. The verdict on Luton has been passed and it has been found guilty of being a shithole. Can't argue with that.

    I wasn't going to do one for this world cup as I thought it had run its course at Euro 2016. However, people have been on at me to get it made but this time there is a difference. In the past loads of people have said they would buy one then disappeared like snow off a dyke when they have been asked to cough up leaving me and the club holding the baby aka a box of t-shirts I can't shift.

    So in an effort to give the public what they want, I will be getting them made to order. These will only be made if I get an order for a minimum of 20 by 2200 hours on Monday night. If I don't get 20 then all monies will be refunded.

    We can sort the sizing and addresses out later.

    Not if you read Archie McPherson's book. The hotel in Mexico in 86 for the games in Neza was like a prison according to the players interviewed. They claimed it was all they could get as we were last to qualify

     

    Sotogrande in 82 was top end but a two hour drive from the ground in Malaga

    Airport transfers

    Am on the internet flight that gets in at 11.30 on the 31st. I have booked a transfer via sun transfers. all they could give me was a 15 seater minibus. Should have space for another three at least given our numbers. We will be going to the Four Points by Sheraton in Roma Norte so if anyone wants to come on board for a share of the cost let me know.
