    Afternoon Guys,

I just emailed Andy and he's away on holiday, but his auto reply gives the details.

    Tartan Army Travel-
Meet in Loch Ness Bar, Bratislava from 15:00 onwards on 10th Oct. You will be issued with your Bus Number, and wristband. Buses will leave around 19:00

    I assume it's the 11th he means.

    Hope this helps.

I assume then it means buses will be leaving from there? We are on Zander's bus but have 3 friends who are booked on that one who are not on FB. Many thanks for the update

I have had an email back saying they would lease me a train for the return journey twelve carriages  1000 passengers  at 11:30 pm however, the initial outlay is alot of money, plus damage deposit, then the grief from people on these boards if i make a profit. which i would be! therefore not worth the hassel this time folk.

Don't blame you. It's hard enough organising a bus let alone a train

I just got an email from something called Payperiscope in Slovakian, it seems to be saying something about the football mentions the 48 Euro and something about 0.38 Euro. Anyone else got one and know what its about?

I got one as well but don't have a clue what it means either!!

  5. I phoned up about 12.20 when I eventually got through, and got the kids on the waiting list. Apparently this is ranked in order of points accumulated as 1 of the boys is on 4 points and the other on 3. She also asked if we had booked and paid for this trip, which we have and it's not the cheapest trip we have ever done, not that that's important but not sure if that's a factor or not if you've already booked maybe come before somebody who hasn't on the same points??? But she made it clear that it is going in order of points if any further tickets become available. Again not entirely sure what she meant by that as she wouldn't elaborate so don't know if they are trying to get more or it's waiting to see if any tickets returned

I guess it fluctuates bus company to bus company.

Im running 3 buses, all through the same company.

First 2 priced at £12 and 3rd bus priced at £15.

Reason 3rd bus is more expensive is because it has to come from Vienna and quoted price was higher.

Received some cheaper quotes and a few far more expensive quotes when I was enquiring.

Went for the one I did because I felt like they were most professional and gave me the feeling that I wouldn't get screwed over...fingers crossed that's the case.

Plus has a toilet on all buses, well so they say anyway haha

But don't see the need to start a thread on here questioning the guy on FB selling seats on a bus for X amount.
Im sure that's the correct percentage cost of the coach hire.  If not, then that's that guys choice.
If your not happy with his pricing you should send him a pm and ask him on his pricing policy, before publically questioning if he's a 'chancer', or simply book onto another more bus :-)

Just saying and enjoy your trip.

Hi Zander, I see you've quoted me in to your response. If it came across that I was questioning your pricing it wasn't meant like that!!! Just saying that £16 was probably about right. If I've picked this up wrong then my apologies. I ran a bus in Malta from Mellieha and I had to charge £6 per head to cover the cost of the bus although I know some buses were slightly cheaper than that. It's the bus companies who set the price of the bus and not the organiser. Many thanks for organising this as I know how stressed I was and that was only 1 bus!!!

  7. Really sorry to hear about your wee boy, hope he makes a speedy recovery. If you contact SSC they will be able to help but if memory serves me correctly you will get a refund if they can sell your tickets on and for this game that won't be a problem with there being such a high demand for them. For what it's worth I think you're doing the right thing by sending them back if you have to

  8. Aww thanks guys, it was a great bus and met really nice people. As I am just back I will sort out how much we raised for TASA and will get that to them asap. Hopefully meet up with you guys again in Bratislava. We are in The Apollo Hotel for a week.

  9. Hi Carol-Anne, I have a bus from Luna going to game. 6 pound each return pp.  Bus is leaving at 6pm from Luna and all proceeds going to Tartan Army Sunshine Appeal. Please note no alcohol or any drinks at all allowed on bus. We are also staying in the Luna. If you are around anytime tonight just speak to anyone with a Scottish accent or Scottish top on as they are all on the bus as well!!  Unfortunately I am not getting an internet connection on my phone but will be around the hotel later tonight and all day tomorrow. Hope this helps
