  1. We were on Zander's bus (3) and had no problems whatsoever. A big thank you to Zander for organising the buses and to the guy (sorry don't know your name!!) for the organisation on bus 3. Would definitely book with Zander again at any future games
  2. That's you in the good books with SJ. Brilliant
  3. Aww thank you. SJ that's me sorted with a sort of "tartan" scarf
  4. Ffs some people really need to get a life. Really thought you were on the wind up!! But as SJ doesn't go for the game only for the party is it really surprising
  5. I will tell you when I see you in Bratslava I will be the one in jeans and Scotland top and limping as too much to go into on here!!!
  6. Ha ha, did you look out a Burberry scarf for me please!!!
  7. How do you know I don't wear any tartan!!! You sound like you are going to a wedding mate. Certainly wouldn't want guys in a white opened collar shirt, definitely Scotland top for football, which is the Tartan Army dress code for football. I don't wear a "cheap" kilt, when I do wear mine and I don't wear it with timberland or trainers. FYI there is a reason why I won't be wearing my kilt for this game or for that matter any of the other games over the past 2 years but this is of no concern of yours but anybody who was with us for the Nigeria game at Fulham know the reason!! You carry on SJ and keep making my day (until I get bored of you of course, but I will let you know).
  8. Hope you're joking. Did that really happen or are you on the wind-up like SJ?
  9. SJ you crack me up. I am so glad you joined this board. Not had such a good laugh on here for a long time. Out of curiosity SJ what do you class as national dress especially for a game of football? I am rolling about laughing and so glad you are really not serious!!!
  10. I know but it helps with the boredom!!!
  11. He's a belter!! He has a great sense of humour though!!!
  12. All adds to the fun of this thread. Keep the dreams going mate. Wish I was around when Mr. McDermott's buses were leaving just to see the chaos that will be caused if anybody turns up with jeans on!!! Anybody on these buses let us know what happens ha ha
  13. Sorry I thought you were quoting me lol
  14. Not sure was in a few places why did you meet a bitter female wearing jeans and waving a club flag lol. If so that would be me then!! I was with my other half and 2 kids at the last game but have been twice before for games. Spoke to a lot of people on that trip some new and some of old. Only got the kids in certain bars so were kind of restricted where to go. We were at the Ted gig in the afternoon of the game for a couple of hours as the kids got in there. We usually only go to pubs on the day of the game as it's not fair on them or find somewhere that does food and feed them and we have a couple of shandies!! Will be the same in Bratislava/Trvana although we won't be spending much time in bars with having them with us (day of game will be about it). The kids were in their kilts. I will be wearing jeans and the Rampant Lion Supporters Club top, if you do see me please stop and say hi. Contrary to what SJ seems to think I am not really bitter and certainly don't wave club flags or wear club tops!!! Been going to away games for a lot of years so no doubt our paths have crossed at some point
  15. I don't think I've laughed so much in a long time. This thread is cracking me up. Simple things and all that
  16. Have you got a spare one I could borrow please as I only have club scarves lol
  17. I can't believe you said you don't care about the score. Some fan you are. I am always kind to the people I like (and even some I don't) and the locals I meet. Ha ha new breed of Scotland fan and bitter as well. Oh well I would be as well selling my Scotland end ticket and staying at home wearing my jeans and waving my club flag. Successful businessman - you obviously have somebody who checks your spelling and grammar before sending any correspondence. Robert obviously didn't do a very good job of ridding the numpties if you're still there. Have a nice life living in your bubble
  18. That whole paragraph makes no sense at all. "Your" in the first line and "were" used twice in the space of two lines. Seriously do you read back what you write??? This has gone from the ridiculous to the sublime but still funny
  19. I think I would be more concerned about your education i.e. spelling and grammar than what Scotland fans wear. So you would still want to party if we lose. Ok you stick with that thought. I personally can't talk to anybody when we lose and head straight back to hotel. Each to their own. Chucking pints about .... whatever
  20. Ha ha you won't miss me either I will be the one with jeans and Scotland top on!!!
  21. Love them won't miss you in the pub lol
  22. Ha ha you carry on with the dreams mate. Been following Scotland for more years than I can remember and nobody cares what I wear anymore than I care what anybody else wears but fyi I do own a kilt but won't be wearing this in Slovakia for reasons that don't concern you
  23. Loving the good old Scottish sense of humour!!
  24. Oh well just glad I'm not on Mr. McDermott's bus then!!
  25. I will tell them to turn up at the pub in plenty of time and not leave it until the last minute!! Thanks again
