As an away team, that line-up suits us. It's tried and tested, but it's very easy to change if need be.

  2. Thought it was a good performance, with some excellent passing and movement at times. Defence absolutely solid - Hanley looks better every game. Full backs were terrific. Maloney done well at quickly taking out players to start an attack. Bit lost on the right but still played well.

We definitely let ourselves down in the final third though. Anybody notice that when crosses came into the box, Naismith seemed to still stay behind Fletcher, near the edge of the box? We would have scored a couple more if one had went to the front post and the other at the back post. But oh well, a win's a win.

  3. Pretty good going.

I was thinking about this for Killie at weekend. This season the following players have played for us and have come through youth system.

    Craig Samson

    Ross Barbour

    Jamie Hamill

    Lee Ashcroft

    Mark O'Hara

    Craig Slater

    Rory Mckenzie

    Robbie Muirhead

    Chris Johnston

In fact 7 of them ended game on Saturday. McKenzie was injured and Ashcroft on bench.

We've had Greg Kiltie, Ross Davidson and devlin mckay on bench but not featured too.

Most Scottish sides the same now thankfully.

Good stuff! We probably wouldn't have had so many in tonight if it weren't for injuries. Thommo, Drury, Osbourne, Teale and Plummer all injured. Good to see Reilly getting a run in the team - he's only 20 and seems to be a bit of a boo buy amongst our support.

Got to say I'm pretty surprised with Killie's start to the season. Locke made the difference or is it the signings? Eremenko looks to be back to his best judging from the highlights at the weekend.

  4. I understand that you'll be up against it tonight.

Ash Taylor's new playing relationship with Reynolds and Langfield is about the only area that I can see you hoping to exploit (other than what I've already said about Wylde's speed and us pushing up the park).

The goal v Celtic was well worked and even had the composure of a dummy in it (so you're not completely devoid of ideas).

Wylde has been pretty poor so far this season. Expected big things from him after a strong finish to last season but so far he hasn't looked great, with his final ball/crossing in particular being awful. Hopefully tonight he changes that...

McGinn and McLean look to finally be coming into some form the past couple of games, and we looked a little bit more secure with Goody and McAusland at the back. I'd stick with the same line up as against Celtic and hope we can break a little better on the counter.
