Noticed most on here charging £8/10 a return trip. This guy has 7 or 8 buses full now charging £16 a head

Anyone considering running a bus from Bratislava to the game had a quote this high from a bus company, or is he just a chancer?

Not calling him out as such, just worried that someone is exploiting the TA for financial gain. Not really our style!

We are £15 each on the bus that we have booked so that's probably about right. We are booked on one of Zander's buses

I guess it fluctuates bus company to bus company.

Im running 3 buses, all through the same company.

First 2 priced at £12 and 3rd bus priced at £15.

Reason 3rd bus is more expensive is because it has to come from Vienna and quoted price was higher.

Received some cheaper quotes and a few far more expensive quotes when I was enquiring.

Went for the one I did because I felt like they were most professional and gave me the feeling that I wouldn't get screwed over...fingers crossed that's the case.

Plus has a toilet on all buses, well so they say anyway haha

But don't see the need to start a thread on here questioning the guy on FB selling seats on a bus for X amount.
Im sure that's the correct percentage cost of the coach hire.  If not, then that's that guys choice.
If your not happy with his pricing you should send him a pm and ask him on his pricing policy, before publically questioning if he's a 'chancer', or simply book onto another more bus :-)

Just saying and enjoy your trip.

  2. The flight on the Thursday was cancelled due to a knock on effect due to the 'security breach' on Wednesday. I.e the Wednesday night FRA-ABZ flight was cancelled due to the security breach.

I can confirm the flight on the Friday morning was cancelled due to a technical fault with the plane on the incoming flight on the Thursday evening..

  3. That all you got?
Id get onto the ssc right away.

I ordered 7 tickets for our group and I received the following in my envelope:

7 tickets, 7 match programmes and 14 complimentary beer vouchers which can be used in the beer tents that the ssc are setting up outside the ground

    All for £2 delivery aswell.

    You've been done over mate.

In 2007 we had the biggest game we've had in a long time.  a home game against a big side with a chance to qualify if we win.

9 years have passed now.   We have a big derby game.  theee biggest.  a bit like rangers and celtic having not met for years and now they have.

No. You go back not forward

You're definitely on the wind up. If not i am i feel sorry for your lack of intelligence.

You need to get a reality check mate.

I can ensure you, the England - Scotland game isn't the biggest game in 9 years.

Every game that Scotland is involved in where a positive result can help aid our progress in reaching a qualification or a playoff position for a major tournament, is and will always be just as important.  I am genuingly intrigued to understand why you think the game v England at Wembley in November is our biggest game in 9 years????

I think i already know your answer to my following question, but i thought I would ask anyway.

At the end of the up-and-coming qualifying campaign, what sceanario would you prefer:

Scenario 1: Scotland LOSE all qualifying games (home and away) to malta, slovakia, slovenia, & Lithuania, but Scotland WIN against England (home and away). This scenario resulting in us finishing bottom of our qualification group.

Scenario 2: Scotland WIN all qualifying games (home and away) to malta, slovakia, slovenia, & Lithuania, but Scotland LOSE to England (home and away). This Scenario resulting in us gaining a playoff position as a minimum.

biggest scotland game in almost 9 years is looming.   You want to get your priorities right pal eh ken?

The thumb should be playing instead of Fletcher.

Winner for the most moronic post in a long time goes to you.

Explain to me how the England game is the biggest game in 9 years???

  9. Honestly, who gives a flying f*ck right now anyway. Pointless thread.

We have 3 massive matches prior to this. This game currently means feck all.

We could have 3 wins out of 3 by the time this comes along and we could just as easy have 3 loses outta 3.

What the f*ck is even the point in discussion this?

    Rant over.

  10. If you watched the game, then your only really in a position to judge the performance, which then would reflect on 'the state' of the Scottish game.

Aberdeen played very well over the 2 legs.  If we had a Rooney that was banging in goals for fun like he has over the past few seasons, Aberdeen could of won the tie by about 3 or 4 goals over the 2-legs.

Unfortunately, he never and the rest is history.

On the game last night, The dons huffed and puffed and tried to play football at every opportunity. Their fitness levels were excellent and were still pushing on in the last 15mins.  Credit to them getting theirselves into that position before the proper season has even began.

The goal, yes it was a horror, but was irrelevant, its not like 'that' goal put them out.  0-0 and they were out anyway.  Freak goal no point dwelling on it.

Now for the referee.  It was quite simply a disgrace of a performance.  The penalty decision, the sending off, the blowing for a free-kick every f*ckign single time a dons player got within a meter of a Maribor player. Bloody pathetic. Uefa, have to review the refs performance and drop him from any future high level games.  If not this clown will continue to make an @rse of the game every time he refs a match.

The booking of the Maribor keeper at the penalty incident was in-fact correct with the new laws of the game, however, why he never played advantage.....well only he can tell us that.  Inept decision by an inept referee.

No excuses for Rooney, he should of buried the pen, instead he struck the pen like it was his missus was in goals and didn't want to hurt her. Riffle the f*ckign thing into the net FFS.

Rules and regulations around segregation, as daft as that may sound? Possibly only able to officially allocate any team the proper away end? SFA's expectations of how many would travel based on their poll in June?

No one here was involved in the negotiations so no one knows what was asked for, what was offered, what was needed.

I said on other thread that I was sure I read somewhere that SFA had 3,400 confirmations of people wanting to travel from poll. I can't find that detail again but I am sure I did see it mentioned, possibly on Twitter? If that was the case then SFA ended up with more tickets than then expected to need.

I do get your point Dalgety.

I might have to put my hands up, but I don't think I even bothered to say aye or no in the poll.  Infact I cant even remember receiving that email.

I just knew/assumed I would get an official ticket due to the amount of points that I am on.  That case turned out to be correct.

Im surely not the only one that didn't vote in the poll and knew that they would get a ticket and did.

I suppose it is the easiest way for the sfa to gauge travelling numbers but surely it cant be taken for granted by the amount of people voting.

If they had any sense, take the pool number and add 25% onto that.

If they end up not selling out all the allocation, is it not just a case of handing back to the home FA the unused tickets?

Maybe im just thinking to simplistic, but who knows!

Bought 6 for our group who were unable to buy SSC tickets. Still think it's disgraceful that some fans are paying £50 for a membership and having to buy unofficial Scotland end tickets at twice the price. Think on this occasion the SSC could have done better.

    3 hours ago, allyc said:

But you do know buying a membership doesn't give you passage to any away game of your choosing.u are aware that there is a points system in place and like any membership scheme should reward it's most loyal members first.the maltese fa are offering an official area for traveling fans...people today in all walks of life expect to be served at the drop of a hat instead of working at something...

Don't really think that's the point jailer is trying to make allyc.

As a point holder that was able to purchase an official away ticket through the SSC.

What I don't understand is why couldn't the Maltese FA not just allow the SSC to also sell the tickets for what they are now calling the 'unofficial' scotland supporters area, and just have it as another official area just like the 4000 odd tickets that the SSC were able to sell?

That way all Scotland fans purchasing a ticket that wanted one could of got one through the ssc and got their much deserved point.

What the feck is the point of the Maltese FA selling tickets for another  area, which is dedicated to Scotland fans.  Why couldn't they not of just added that additional area onto scotlands initial allocation and let the ssc sell them?

    Baffles me.
