  1. The poppy is still there to show Remembrance.. Unfortunately it has been politicised by all sides and this has tarnished what the true meaning is.

I will keep wearing my poppy to remember friends from my time in the forces who did not make that final parade..

But aye it makes me cringe when friends and family share these wear poppy things on facebook.. I suggest put money in the tin and wear one.. or if you want to something different a wrist band or tie badge,.

On social meidja there appears to be a hollier than thou attitude if you say you don't wear it or join their "group". The poppy is fine when it is worn for your reason above or others remembering relatives that fought in wars.

  2. Can't beat a bar of Dairy Milk. I love fancy chocolates but they just don't cut it when you want a quick fix.

By far and away my favourite as well, especially since most supermarkets do the bags of buttons for a pound. Will easily demolish one of them in about 10 minutes

    Lindt and Galaxy

See when they 1st came out, i loved lindt chocolate, but have went aff them recently. They were amazing if you left them in the fridge.

Are Yorkies still on the go?

Yep. Even do the bags of big yorkie buttons in most supermarkets

  3. 1st half you were the better team and there was nothing raith keeper could do about the 1st goal. We showed hibs too much respect and looked nervy. But second half we were better and showed that putting hibs under a bit of pressure, they start to get very shaky, we were denied a stonewall penalty, another one that possibly could have been a penalty when our player went off injured. The referees performance was disgraceful, but unfortunately typical of the standard across scotland. Thought you were lucky to be leaving kirkcaldy with 3 points.

  4. It just feels like there is always a georgia type game when things are going well. I agree, ireland were there for the taking as well, showed them too much respect if you will. As someone said in the sfa thread, its difficult to see where the players to replace this lot are coming from.

  5. Sitting here contemplating that was our best chance of qualification in years, win and draw in ireland left us in a no bad position, but yet again we are are the masters of our own downfall. Georgia defeat, poland last minute goal, irish ability to spawn a result, just feels like there is always going to be someone better/luckier than us. The world cup draw will have england top that group, but make no mistake, slovenia and slovakia will be no mugs especially away from home. Probably just on a downer after tonight, but it just feels like we are never going to do this again.

Well done to northern ireland btw.

  6. Was starting to feel bit deflated before that. Felt that going forward, the same as georgia, no goal threat going forward, crossing pish, and never looked like causing the polish defence any bother.
