  1.

Claude analka. Thread closed. Came in with this ambition to bring players he was an agent for big moves after starting off at raith rovers, unfortuntaley the flaw in his plan was, he was a pi£h, and so were the players.

Someone who had clearly thought it eas easy after playing one too many games of fifa and championship manager. Don't think he ever won a game in the 3 months he was in charge. Took about a year to get rid of all the dead wood he had brought in. By that time we were relegated and had a massive rebuilding job to do.

    Just watched the highlights.

    Newcastle were crap.

McLaren honest enough to admit that the way they are playing, they will go down.

She-ra though is a hypocrite talking about how poor the whole set up is considering he relegated them himself !

That comment from mclaren can go one of two ways, it can either fire the players up to prove him wrong, or just be another dent to their confidence and finish the job. I thought them and sunderland would get relegated this year, but sunderland have started to turn things around while norwich are sinking fast.

  3. Cockroaches scare the living daylights out of me. Which is why I was, and still aren't, a fan of the Canary Islands. They are hoaching with the ####ers.

Still scarred by one crawling down my leg one night in Gran Canaria.

We were in gran canaria and my mum starting shouting and shreeking that a cockroach was crawling on her leg. Turnt out that it was just a leaf that had fallen off a nearby tree

  4. think we are up to 2250 out of 3000 tickets allocated for us, how is your sales going? would like to think we could get close to a sell out up there, looking forward to my first trip to Starks park.

We arent playing that great at the moment, fearing the worst given its the Scottish Cup...

Met a group of your fans on Saturday night in Blazers, good lads.

No sure about our end, but would like to hope we can get close to it. Atmosphere was good last time you were at starks park.

  5. Outside Hearts v Aberdeen I'd say the ties below are the most attractive based on quality and/or chances of an upset.

    Airdrie v Dundee Utd

    Dundee v Falkirk

    Dunfermline v Ross County

    Raith v Hibs

    St Johnstone v Killie

We have a no bad record against hibs in the cup. Not been a lot between the two teams in the games this season, but i can't see us getting paat them this time.

  6. As I said to Wanderer, anyone who doesn't think Vogts was the worst can't have seen or have perhaps blocked out the majority of games under him. Nothing under Levein or Burley was as inept as Vogts - I read at the time that Scotland's cumulative possession over 3 successive games with Vogts at the helm, with two at home, still didn't reach 100%..........

Maybe just blocked it out. Maybe just seemed better because of the playoffs (holland away aside). Burley ####ed up a winning side that should have qualified and levein had us out of the running before our 3rd game in the w/c group. Even san marino stood more chance mathematically of qualifying than us. Dont get me wrong, the start of bertis second campaign was a disaster as well. But at least we were still in it when smith took over.

  7. At least Vogts got us to a play-off...

Burley and Levein were completely and utterly disastrous appointments and, in fairness to them, the SFA are most culpable for appointing two individuals who most sane-minded knew were out of their depth in the first place and should never have been in that position.

Out of the 3 of them, levein has to be the most surreal appointment. Burley was brought in based on his stint at hearts. And being honest, i (maybe foolishly) had high hopes for us under burley, but that soon faded away. But what had levein done? As you say, berti got us to the playoffs, but he did hand oot scotland caps like they were sweeties. And by the sounds of things wasn't very organised, but out of the 3 of them, wasn't the worst.
