  1. Last night was a bit weird. Found myself standing next a bunch of sound guys who actually wanted to encourage the team instead of shouting nonsense. That said, there were definitely pockets of supporters dotted around the place booing at every opportunity. Maybe I just got lucky for once with my seat.

I thought we played well and Strachan got his team selection just about spot on. It has to be said that Slovenia were not interested in anything other than grinding out a pretty brutal 0-0 draw. We deserved the three points...

Do we all want Scotland to qualify - Yes

Do we all think Strachan is a bad national team manager - Yes

Would we have had a more positive overall campaign to date with a different manager - Most probably, yes

Do we all think we can or will still qualify - This is where the divide is

I don't recall giving you authority to post on my behalf...

  3. If there was a fight it must have been pretty low scale as I was there when it was supposed to take place. My son wanted to see Trafalgar Square as it was his first Wembley visit. TS isn't my ideal way of pre match "entertainment" unless you enjoy watching inebriated guys making tits out of themselves. On this occasion it seemed to be pretty restrained compared to previous years. Not got a problem with blootering a lightweight fitba about but taking a dip in fountains which formed part of a commemoration was neither big nor clever.

However, anyone who was unfortunate enough to be in the same carriage on the way to Wembley as the pondlife giving it "10 German Bombers" would have witnessed a new level of disrespecting the dead of previous conflicts on a day we should have been remembering them.

In saying that, 99.9 percent of both sets of fans were absolutely fine in their behaviour in my experience. What was it? Two arrests out of 87,000? Get a grip Daily Record...

  4. We're certainly world class hand-wringers. Our game is at a low ebb at the moment, but turning on supporters who spend their hard earned cheering on their country will change nothing...

Who's to say they weren't wearing seat belts, doing the speed limit, had both hands on the wheel, eyes fixed on the road except for checking mirror.

Her eyes clearly weren't on the road.

There was a similar scenario in The World According to Garp which ended badly for both parties...

You will tap out of the underground then tap into the rail station. Always remember to tap out!!! When you use an oyster or debit card it caps off at travel card price so you can travel all day on buses/trains/tube/thames clipper/overground within london.

    Cheers pal...

I don't know this guy but there has been a lot of childish behaviour here with people ganging up on him for any reason they can think off. People being all chuffed with themselves starting threads on being banned etc. It's not too dissimilar to kids in school bullying other kids.

He organised an event. Good on him. People don't need to attend and he didn't need to give anything to charity. As its going to be well attended there are obviously demand. There is nothing stopping anyone here organising an event of their own but they won't, it's easier to gang up on someone else.

I don't really have a problem with him making a bit of money from it especially as the tacc will be getting a big donation. Can't see the problem.

Correct me if I'm wrong but it looks like he was taking a lot of credit for organising it, when in reality it was Ted doing the work. I don't think is was ever "His" gig as he was claiming...

it gives a good section view but we are row 1! Guessing pitch level for us?

Certain advantages to being seated there. When Anya scores a last minute winner at our end he'll not be diving into section 531... :spin:

  9. 531 row 33 for us. £45 tickets. Would have preferred the lower tier but just happy to get my hands on the tickets. Also delighted to have avoided the pick-up which would have inconvenienced pre-match plans as we only get into London at 3pm...

  10. Hate this poppy fascism that has developed over the past few years. I will happily respect anyone's decision to wear one. Please respect mine not to. I have relatives who served in different armies in more than one conflict. There are are no winners in wars, only losers. Mostly of lives on all sides. God rest their souls...
