Scunnered
It does put Sturgeon in the awkward position were the vocal supporters will be demanding a referendum immediately.

If you look at it in a different way. Almost exactly 4.0 million were registered to vote in the EU referendum and 4.3 million were registered to vote in the independence referendum. That number includes about 150,000 16 and 17 year olds. So, if the EU national vote was to go from 75% "NO" to 75% "YES" then the actual difference would be about 75,000 votes. Not a huge amount but every little helps.

The EU national no vote was 57% (assuming they split In equal measure to other non-ruk nationalities) so approx 75k - 60k. To get the number you quote added you need 100% yes vote from EUs

I just used a fairly extreme swing of going from 75% NO to 75% YES to emphasise that it is a fairly small number and fairly insignificant in the overall scheme of things. The big swinger is the 300k no voting rUK from 450k. Even turning that around wouldn't do it. Focus has to be on indigenous scots. ....... That or invite 500k europhilic migrants (Lets call them brefugees - everyone loves a portmanteau) from rUK to make Scotland their home.
