ErsatzThistle
According to the BBC http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/29251325 You'd have to be mental to go there, Cardiff that is, no Dundee !
scoobydoo
Wise move for Hartley i think.he'll do well at doondee and the experience will bide him well in the futre. A bit early in his managerial career to go to one of the premier league teams down south

harrystarfish
Waiting for the Celtic job, or are Cardiff too unpredictable with Vincent Tan in charge?
sbcmfc
I'd imagine he'll have turned down decent money to go there. Shows a bit of faith in his own ability to not just chase the £££s,
sonofoi
Worked out well for Cardiff that appointment! Red faces to go wi their red shirts!!
kumnio
Definitely the right call, Cardiff is a thankless job, if it were a similar club if probably expect him to go.
ZoltanBuchan
Cardiff wouldn't be a bad choice for any manager. Four or five months work, sacked, contract paid up in full, absolutely no stain on your managerial record due to the nutter/Tan factor. DaveyDenoon
Pulis the fans' favourite by a mile also he's a Newport lad and supported Cardiff as a boy. He's made it abundantly clear that he will not be the next manager and clearer still that it is down to Tan. Tan wants to go gown the younger "one for the future" head coach with the board handling transfers model ie the cheap option and Tan wants to pick the team. No sensible manager will touch this job. Despite the money he's poured in, Tan has really fucked up the club. Edited September 19, 2014 by DaveyDenoon
