DoonTheSlope
Willo Flood has had his contract ripped up by the club he signed for in Bali as they are only allowed to sign players from a top division
Mark frae Crieff
It seems Tony Watt has signed for Saints also rumoured that Andy Driver is there as well. Lets hope Tommy Wright can sort out Watt as there was a good player in there.

Hertsscot
Angus Gunn to Southampton for £13. 5 million, most expensive fee for a Scottish keeper - except he isn't. It's a sore one. Only two years younger than Pickford mind so his opportunities with England might, injury permitting, be limited.

Although I appreciate his mother is English - I am surprised that Gunn, as an ex scottish international did not drum into into his son to play for Scotland

Regardless, has Angus not represented England at every level?? Where was the SFA when all that was going on??

About time we started playing the same mad game as everyone else, young Scotland captain on a 5-year-deal. To be honest this is the time to cash in on him if we can. Apparently Swansea got £12M for Williams when he was 31 so if they're keen...
Parklife
Swansea just received £4 million for Kyle Bartley. If that's the value placed on that haddie, then Aberdeen should be looking for more than that for McKenna.

He’s a different player to that the Huns had or at least was when he turned out for Leeds. Since returning from Leeds where he played very well he’s been fucked with injuries. Bartley is a good footballer but wasn't physically strong enough for Scottish football. He's also more injury prone than Darren Anderton, the original sicknote. He has yet to earn a full international cap I believe so could easily reverse his decision and choose to play for Scotland, but given he has played for England from schoolboys to U21 why would he? If he is good as everyone says then England will call soon enough.

It’s embarrassing enough as it is crawling for their cast-offs.

That is what I am getting at, born and raised in England, played for England at every level bar full international - just need to accept he is not Scottish. giblet
The usual ugly sisters Scottish transfer fee play production being put on just now over McGinn. its obvious McGinns agent is telling any other interested parties that he only wants to sign for Celtic. No club will bid for a player if they know there is no chance of the player wanting to come. Seriously undervalued bid is then made. meanwhile Ugly sister manager and captain expose their admiration for said player in the fawning weegie press. Later in season, same ugly sisters manager and weegie press decry the lack of competition in the league. We're hardly going to overpay on McGinn when we could potentially sign him in January for eff all, are we?

On one hand they will try to raise money for a basket case by touting around utter garbage figures and non-existant bids for players, on the other they will attempt to drive down fees for players going the other way. As an aside, is neepheid Broon no effectively tapping up McGinn?

Almost spot on, but you forgot to mention about him sitting on the bench for most of his of career. Armstrong being the exception.
