Rich NATA
May be of interest to some of you... There are a few matches taking place in Prague over the Easter break. No top tier unfortunately and the only Prague-based 2nd tier team are away, which leaves... Aritma Praha v. Karlovy Vary (4.Liga) on Good Friday. And on Easter Sunday, you've the choice of Viktoria Zizkov v. Kolin (3.Liga) or Meteor Praha* v. Lovosice (4.Liga). *Meteor Praha are seemingly the 4th oldest club in the Czech Republic. The bad news... Seemingly all three of these matches kick-off at 10:15am There is a full programme of 2nd tier matches on over the weekend, but the vast majority seem to be being played at the outer extremes of Czech territory! The nearest matches being played are in the towns of Tabor and Hradec Kralove; both of which are one and a half hours away from Prague. However (and this may appeal to those of you who enjoyed the daytrips to see Vlasim v Dukla, Orihuela v Cadiz and Haarlem v Omniworld... There are MANY matches in the 3rd and 4th tier being played 10/20/30 miles from Prague. If any of you are interested in such an away day, let me know and I'll come back with the options. aaid
Went to a sixth division game this afternoon. Crowd of about 90-100. Vladimir Smicer and Patrik Berger were both playing for the home side. Berger played the first half and looked knackered. Smicer played about 80 minutes which was remarkable as he was getting kicked off the park the whole time. 1-0 and three sendings off.
