OLAS
Thistle 2-0 St.Johnstone Dundee 5-0 Dumbarton Albion Rovers 4-1 Brechin City Cowdenbeath 1-4 Forfar Athletic Arbroath 0-0 East Stirling Berwick Rangers 1-1 Queens Park Stirling Albion 1-2 Clyde Good win for Thistle. Up to 8th with a few points and decent goal different to spare. Kris Doolan was on for 47 seconds, two touches - one to tee it up and the other to score. The guy is a Thistle legend - might not make #1 scorer, but he'll give it a good go!

OLAS
You sure? Somner: 1974–1979 Partick Thistle 144 (101) Doolan 2009– Partick Thistle 220 (75)

EddardStark
The deferral of the final game against Hibs until Mid April has done us a massive favour. Don't be surprised if Falkirk catch Hibs. One game at a time for us starting with an improved St Mirren on Sat.
Doric
Difference between Hearts and Hibs. Hearts never bothered chasing cups last season and threw everything into promotion.

giblet
Well that was horrible. Too many players the night thought they just needed to turn up. Stokes and Cummings were horrendous, maybe drinking up in George Street isnt the way forward after games. Cant see us catching Rangers now, as said in thread already, three home games in a row and there will be single figure games left.
slasher
I hope those pushing Stubbs for the Celtic job have taken note of tonight's result. Quite apart from the fact he's achieved nothing yet he can hardly string a sentence together!

Stokes spat the dummy when he was subbed, straight down the tunnel he went. Sometimes you have to hold your hands up and say the best team won. It's a tad early to say we've Dons'd it considering it was 1 defeat in almost 30 but failure to capture all 3 points on Saturday then you could be forgiven saying we've Dons'd it Never mind, if push came to shove I'd still be delighted with just a cup this season

Nice to hear that you've won a cup though.

It won't be an achievement to win promotion, whether it's through winning the league or the play-offs. It will be job done nothing more, nothing less. Not a case to go out on a mad bender getting MWI A cup win though will live long in the memory and will see me oot fur days Edited February 24, 2016 by DoonTheSlope
Gala Tartan Army (Borders)
Hibs should never have signed Stokes. A trouble maker who keeps the wrong company. Only scored one goal since he arrived and that was from two inches out. But to start writing off Hibs after one bad result is nonsense. Big ask to win league now and Scottish Cup also still difficult but got a decent chance in League Cup and should be confident if end up in play offs. I've been impressed with them when we've played them. If they were able to afford a bigger squad then they'd be in the running for 2nd and 3Rd easily. Once against St Mirren on his debut and the only goal against Morton at Cappielow.
